Très bonne adresse sur Lamai
Nous sommes ravis d’avoir passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel.
Les propriétaires sont des personnes très sympathiques qui nous ont donnés de bon conseils pour visiter l’île.
L’hôtel est propre, tout est bien entretenu, le petit dej est top.
Merci pour ce beau séjour.

I leave in Shanghai since 15 years, needed a break from the current situation. My business is suffering a lot, I knew I had to find ideas to boost it, but failed...
Then I came back to Koh Samui and of course in Sallamai Resort. This place is so quiet, magical, peaceful, breakfast are hand made and so delicious! And the hosts!!
Believe it or no.. I find new ideas, my team si super motivated and my clients happy!!

Great hosts are what make the Sallamai. A trip to an elephant sanctuary booked on our behalf turned out to be one of the highlights of the holiday. The only meal served at the Sallamai is breakfast but there are eatery options a 15 minute walk away by the beach. The lane down to the coast road can be very dark so best to take a torch. There is a clean swimming pool on-site and there is also a small bar.
Our hosts were kind enough to provide us with another room on the day that we left as we had a later flight. The Sallamai is around half an hour from Koh Samui airport by taxi or car.

We had an amazing time in Sallamai Resort. Bruno and Isabelle are great hosts, with some nice recommendations on restaurants options + activities not to be missed on the island. The resort has 10 rooms, is located In Lamai area, nice beach close by. We rented a car for the whole trip, needed as a family of 5, Scooter is also a great option to move around. Breakfast cooked by Isabelle in the morning under the sun, perfect way to star the day. Would definitely return to Sallamai if we have the chance to come back to Koh Samui ! recommended for couple and families !

Room is super clean, and no mosquitoes. Location is easy to reach anywhere you want to go. Its a very cozy and comfy place to stay. The owner always give us suggestions for going to good places to eat and visit. Will definitely come back.

It is quite difficult to describe this lovely place because it has been always an awesome experience!! Only 10 rooms, super quiet, super service, lovely host, amazing breakfast, very well located in Lamai, very close to anything, always good advises from the owners. It is our 4th time in Sallamai Resort and I already book next Xmas holidays there with my friends coming from Paris. Bruno & Isabelle, the French owners, always know the best places and activities to recommend you.. what else Should you stay?!

I had stayed here previously while visiting Samui. It was an easy decision to return here to stay another 22 nights on a cycling holiday

Bruno and Isabelle are great hosts and once again I was looked after very well. They give great advice for looking around the island and I have to give a special mention to their knowledge of where to eat in Lamai. Every recommendation for food was better than the last one :)

Breakfast is very good and the overall value for the room and breakfast combined make the Sallamai great value for money.

Rooms are basic but clean and Wifi was good throughout the hotel.

The hotel and surroundings are very quiet and on a quiet road. Probably about a 15-20 minute walk to the main area of Lamai. I always rent a scooter through the hotel which is easy to do.

I hope to be back asap!

We stayed there 4 nights in order to enjoy & explore Koh Samui and had a great time. Our days started with an amazing breakfast and afterwards either walking to the beach (about 10 minutes walk) or exploring the island with a scooter. Bruno and Isabelle had great suggestions for dinner and helped with organizing our activities (they organized our scooters and transfer to Koh Panghan). Our room was nice & simple and very clean. The staff was also very lovely & helpful. We would choose Sallamai Resort again!

Absolute treat staying at this resort owned by a charming French couple Isabelle & Bruno who are gracious hosts. Very professional team, lovely, spacious clean rooms and yummy home-made breakfast every morning. Very helpful for advice - highly recommend.

I went to Salamai Resort for a few days and had a great time with my friends. Nothing was wrong. I definitely recommend you this place if you go to Koh Samui. This hotel is beautiful and the staff is really helpful and friendly. They gave us lot of tips, they are so welcoming.
My room was nice and really clean.
Then, the breakfast was delicious, the jam is homemade (more than delicious), you won’t be disappointed for sure!
Unfortunately, with my friends we went to Koh Phangan where we could have stayed only 3 days. So enjoy longer in Koh Samui but it’s with great pleasure that I will return to Salamai Resort.

Isabelle and Bruno made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. Great conversations with valuable recommendations and insight about the island. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay for 5 nights. Our very clean room faced the jungle with a spacious private balcony. Highly recommend this special place away from home.

It was a trip we really looked forward to. The resort is small and has just over 10 rooms. The resort is run by a French couple who are friendly and welcoming. We really looked forward to swim in the sea. The beach and Lamai is very polluted and dirty. The resort is hidden and it is difficult and dark at night to get back. Overall we felt it was not what we were expecting from this trip. It was just ok.

Excellent séjour , dans un établissement particulièrement agréable . Les propriétaires sont vraiment au top !!!! De vrais bons conseils , associés à un service de grande qualité .Allez y les yeux fermés , vous ne serez pas déçu . Des petits déjeuners fabuleux ....des chambres spacieuses et calmes , avec une literie très confortable ...un personnel toujours souriant et sympa .Vraiment un établissement à recommander sans aucune réserve .

Nice hosts and staff, lovely room with sea view and great balcony, excellent breakfast (with two resident wild birds partaking!) and very good value for money. Easy walk to restaurants but not quite as easy coming back in the dark due to traffic! That said, overall an excellent stay, can thoroughly recommend.

We stayed for 5 nights in early January and had a really enjoyable time. The hosts and the staff were really nice and helpful. While we were there there was a tropical storm (unusual for January in Koh Samui) and the staff did not miss a beat ensuring every thing was ok.

Second visit here. As great and peaceful place as before.

Beautiful resort peaceful and tranquil, immaculate grounds and the room we had was an ocean view with a spa tub on the balcony, the room was comfortable the out door space perfect , breakfast was included which was delicious, but above all Hugo Isabelle and all the staff were beyond helpful from where to eat to hiring the scooter and the best places to visit, the road to it only taxis will access not the tuk tuk but that’s no problem, perfect place far away from the centre but close enough to all restaurants and bars without the noise. X

A lovely place with great rooms, a huge and great breakfast and good local advice. The French couple who run the place are wonderful. The WiFi was good. The pool was nice. They arranged everything for us. Good value.
