Gostamos de tudo mesmo. O fato de não ter elevador, porque o prédio é um antigo castelo e tombado pelo patrimônio histórico da cidade, não faz a mínima falta. Nosso quarto foi tudo de bom. Os funcionários são muito atentos e atenciosos, dedicados, todos sem exceção!!!!!!!

This hotel smashed our expectations.
We travel..a lot.
We asked ChatGBT to find us a quirky boutique hotel in Santiago in the bohemian quarter. Boom! As soon as we walked through the iconic gates through the courtyard and into reception we knew… pay dirt.
Great greetings from the receptionist, up the stone staircase, past the delightful lounge area and to our room. There we were instantly transported to a tastefully appointed Hemingway style room with 21st Century comforts ( a difficult act to pull off tastefully).
We found that, at no charge, the hotel provided a bottle or two of wine in the lounge for pre-dinner drinks for the guests!
They from all over the Americas ( we were the only Brits.) and congregated for a delightful hour of conversation and laughter. Afterwards into the streets filled with authentic restaurants. If you want high end dining, this area is not for you but if you want to feel the buzz of an incredibly creative city… if you want to be a traveller and not a tourist, this place is a steal, and for less less than the price of some boring international chain hotel.
Would we stay here again?… in a heart beat.

Hotel muito interessante em um edifício com mais de 100 anos. Foi renovado alguns anos atrás e continua decorado no mesmo estilo clássico do século passado. Café da manhã muito bom, fresco, em um ambiente muito agradável. Ótima localização, com muitos bares e restaurantes nas redondezas e bem perto do teleférico para o Cerro de San Cristóbal.
This is a super boutique restaurant close to lots of restaurants and San Cristobel Hill (worth a hike up). The staff are so friendly and each evening invite you for a glass of Chilean wine. Breakfast is a simple continental type but delicious and fresh. If you have early pick up from the hotel for excursions, they will provide a packed breakfast which is a bonus. I would definitely stay here again.
Bottled water could have been provided on a daily basis not just once, but a minor issue.

O Café da manhã é repetitivo, mas é tão gostoso que compensa. Pães quentinhos e uma equipe muito atenta às preferencias dos hospedes.
Achei um pouco barulhento algumas noites, mas nada que comprometesse a experiência nem o sono dos hospedes. O barulho vem da rua, haja vista se tratar de uma localidade com muitos bares e restaurantes nas proximidades.
