Amazing hotel for a ski resort.
Room was beautifully fitted out with a stunning view of the resort and valley.
It is right at the top of the resort, but only 10 mins walk to the main group of bars, and there is a ski in and out option. Plus free transfer available around the resort.
Breakfast options were huge to start the day.
The bar was cosy and the terrace had a lovely view and sunshine.
Spa was impressive but often busy.
Only issues were that the room was often hot and no obvious way to cool it down other than opening a window/door. The boot room didn’t have locks on the doors or anywhere to store skis (which I assume is because everyone rents from their ski shop but that was expensive), and even with the transfers it is removed from the centre of the resort, so you will spend a lot of time walking up and down hill - but that was our choice.
Definitely would go again.
Very good 5 stars ski resort hotel with ski in ski out access. It has three restaurants.
The staff in reception, restaurants and ski room are very friendly, particularly James, Nathan and Laurence in ski room and are really helpful.
The room is spacious enough for two people.
The breakfast is good and beside the buffet, I have eggs choic and coffee. It is a great start before heading to the slope.

Cuisine mauvaise, pdts de mauvaise qualite yc au petit dej. Desorganisation complete de l equipe de restauration, il manque un manager experimente. Dommage, bel endroit, bel etablissement, SPA parfait comme les services du voiturier et du skiroom. Enfin…le chauffage est au maximum dans les chambres, impossible de le reduire ou stopper, il faut ouvrir les p.fenetres toute la nuit. Incroyable mais vrai. Horrible

We used the Spa for relaxing massage. Leah was such a professional host and I felt great after her massage.
I will be returning to this hotel for sure. 5* hotel and gave a 5* service.
One area that could be better was the menu in the main restaurant. I suggest offering some classic dishes for dinner.
Also a good idea to have salt and pepper on the tables instead of having to keep asking for them.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and with great views. Reception staff were incredibly helpful before and during our stay - sorting out everything from ski lessons, passes, restaurant reservations etc. Good quality ski equipment from an on-site ski shop with super helpful staff working there.
Nice hotel good potential. Ski shop great and shuttle drivers great. Rooms don’t get “cleaned” and sheets and towels not changed unless ask. Staff not helpful and spa is extremely poor. No staff no towels, not open on time. Asked front desk for help many occasions and got nothing. Live music once in a blue moon so don’t be deceived. Bar staff efficient. Outside balcony and no atmosphere or music. All staff do all jobs not really sure who’s incharge here. Ski in ski out very narrow in and out. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Very good stay. Loved the ski in/out direct from the ski room with a very helpful ski shop staff. The room was a great size and fabulous views with afternoon balcony sun. The pool and sauna are a bit tired. And so were a few other common parts and the breakfast was more 4 star than 5s.
But overall very good. And thanks to the General Manager who was always very welcoming
Over priced and over ranked
The staff r nice but in the area the service is zero, so for them it s good. Very far from main, not convenient, stuff doesnt clean good. U can rate it 3.5 not even 4. Price is sooooooo high for such a hotel, nice building yes but the service is not 5 stars at all.
Amazing Hotel,
The location is not in the center but they have a Shuttle service that can drop you and pick you up from everywhere at anytime.
The only feedback I have is that the Jacuzzi in the amazing SPA is not hot enough, sometimes it felt almost cold. but other then that it was AMAZING

Most of the staff was great, helpfull and nice. A few were not, almost rude.
The facility is great, comfortable, clean. Does it justify the cost. No!
We booked very late, so didn't have a choice, but if you book early enough I don't think this is hotel is worth the cost
Hotellet får veldig godt bidrag fra selve landsbyen Val Thorens, umulig å ikke trives her. Hotellet hadde god service som forventet på 5 stjerner.
Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end dans un cadre idyllique avec un service irréprochable - cet hôtel est un 6 étoiles !!!! Nous reviendrons passer un séjour un peu plus long - Le spa est grandiose et intimiste- Les praticiennes sont d’un grand professionnalisme - Tout est organisé pour se détendre- iIl faut noter également la qualité du matériel de ski à la location et l’expertise de ceux qui nous conseillent sur le choix du matériel au ski room . Les skis sont neufs et les chaussures des pantoufles !!
The staff were amazing and did their best to make our trip a wonderful one. They accommodated all of our requests always with a smile. The facility is absolutely amazing, you can see that they thought about everything.

Ski in - ski out hotel with great food and drink. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Amazing staff who go out of their way to help and assist to make your stay more memorable. 5 Mins walk from the center of Village which is nice, hotel have a free shuttle that would drop you off and pick you up if require.
This hotel is run by one of the most professional staff teams that I have ever encountered. Without exception every employee that we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. It seemed that nothing was too much or too difficult if it meant the guests enjoyment of the hotel was increased. In addition extra touches such as laying out your skis out in the snow ready to jump straight on, or serving your dinner in the lounge so as not to miss the world cup game were greatly appreciated. Excellent facilities and gourmet dining complete the package. Well done guys. We were impressed!
Overall the hotel was excellent, friendly staff, good food and great facilities.
The ski-in-out experience was superb but not suitable for learners.
The children’s playroom was a little cold and soulless and could do with an update.
The carpets in the rooms could use a really good hoover.
The chef was more than happy to provide infant meals and portions, very welcome.
I would rate the overall experience as 8.5/10
