Island Leisure Resort

We had a wonderful stay. The villa and facilities were very clean and tidy. Rachel in reception is an absolute delight! Nice easy walk to the beautiful beach and the rock wallabies were amazing!! Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic apartments old fashioned but very spacious and comfortable.
Bus stop just up the road and easily walkable from the ferry terminal.
This was our 2nd stay and wont be our last.

Island Leisure Resort is a great place to stay when visiting Maggie! No fuss, clean and tidy apartments with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is wonderful, my son loved the games room and the staff are so friendly and helped out with all my questions.
There are places to eat nearby, however I would recommend booking in advance to ensure a spot. The Foodworks is overpriced and not great quality, grab your supplies at the Ferry Terminal's IGA if you can.
Overall, a lovely place to stay at Island Leisure Resort!

Very relaxing environment. Loved the tennis court. Quite location with easy access to rest of island.

Enjoyed my stay at Island Leisure. There are many nature trails on Magnetic Island that are easily accessible by the local bus service, if you don't have a car.

We stayed here for four nights and we were absolutely delighted with everything about this property. The self contained units are clean and very comfortable. The resort has excellent facilities (swimming pool, games room, laundry, library, BBQ). The location is convenient to the ferry terminal, a grocery shop, a restaurant and a bottle shop. The staff are very friendly & helpful and I would highly recommend this property to you.

Lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Close to the beach and amenities. Our room was very clean and hotel property was maintained well.

The staff were very friendly. Jenni. Our room. (5) was spotless with extra lnen.
Unfortunately our room was not spundproof. We could hear everything from unit t next door. Unfortunately there was construction next door starting at 7am all say. Very noisy.

What a great, clean and happy place this is. Highly recommend this resort. The rooms are spotless, the grounds well kept and neat, close to bus stops and finally the staff are so helpful and happy. The pool was a sanctuary of relaxation.
I will be back.

We loved the architecture of Buree number 2. Clean,modern,with a dishwasher (always a bonus!). Loved our little patio,where we ate breakfast every morning. Beautifully landscaped. Rachel and Jenny were absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Eat at Saltwater next door to Foodworks. Delish!

Excellent as usual

This place is a gem. I was hoping for something simple, clean, affordable, well located and pleasant and it ticked every box. We were treated to a warm and friendly reception, everything is well maintained and lovely. We loved the pool. We loved the handy location, the peace and quiet, everything really…

Had no wifi in our room and had to go to the reception area to get it.

We enjoyed our stay at the property, it was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The property ground were beautiful and well-maintained. The pool was lovely too. Be aware that there is no wifi in the guest rooms and you can only use Wifi in the common room. The common room is comfortable with couches but it gets very hot as there is no aircon. Staff were receptive and accommodating to our late check in.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived and thr lady on reception gave us some great info about the island. We stayed in the superior Queen buree, it was decorated nicely and was spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and the pool was nice. We loved our outdoor seating area where we spent most mornings and evenings relaxing enjoying our meals where the resident curlew greeted every evening, what a lovely bird! It was nice and peaceful. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Maggie island and we absolutely loved our stay here on the island, I would recommend, thank you.
