It should mention more clearly in the description of the room that mansard rooms technically has “no” window! Yes, there is a window but with a 1.8m wall right in front of the window …. ! I could have choose a better room if I knew it’s like this….

A fabulous hotel, whose best asset is their welcoming and helpful Team
Pros:

The hotel itself is lovely, decor is modern, clean, fresh and calming, but with lots of thought gone into styling and amenity items, for us artworks and a little bookshelf in our room, while maintaining an elegant simplicity, with a wonderful bathroom with double sinks, and roller blockout blinds on the windows for a great nights sleep. Location in an alleyway of Alfama is perfect for a great stay in Lisbon. The rooftop deck and bar overlooking the river and The Alfama rooftops are just special, and we started and ended every day there. The hotel offers 2 free walking Tours with a fabulous local guide, Fred. But most of all, what makes the Memmo and your stay so special is the friendly and welcoming Memmo staff, who go out of their way to help you enjoy and make the most of your stay. They go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful stay, and are full of local recommendations and suggestions, are very helpful making bookings for you, and are accessible via WhatsApp while you are out and about and need assistance. Look out for the wonderful Joao, Rafael, Leonardo, Daniel, Omar and Fred who will no doubt make your stay as special as ours. We are absolutely certain we fell in love with Lisbon because we had the privilege of seeing it through their eyes.

Fantastisches Stadthotel!
Pros:

Die Lage, die Ruhe, das freundliche Personal und die Tatsache, dass wir eine Stunde früher ins Zimmer durften, weil wir zu früh ankamen. Die Terrasse über den Dächern ist atemberaubend schön und die Lage in der Sackgasse eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Essen des Restaurants ist prima und für eine Abend auf der Terrasse sehr geeignet. Zimmer Nr. 22 hat die allerbeste Aussicht…ich wollte nie wieder fort. ♥️

Cons:

Der Service auf der Terrasse muss unbedingt besser geschult werden. Vieles geht drunter und drüber. Essen wird vergessen, kommt spät oder nie. Die Rechnung stimmt dann auch zunächst nicht. Das Essen war gut, aber bitte (!) schult eure Servicekräfte! 🙏🏼

Der Roof-Top Bereich ist toll. Die Mitarbeitenden an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Nachmittags gratis Kaffee und Wasser.

Simple and elegant boutique hotel in Alfama
Pros:

Staff professional, friendly, helpful. Room clean simple but elegant, quiet. Large bathroom with tiled tub and glass shower, breakfast amazing. Super free guided two hour neighborhood tour. Location perfect.

Cons:

Maybe have whole milk for coffee?

Pros:

Good location, the rooftop pool is nice. The walking tour was good. The staff on the rooftop were lovely and very attentive.

Cons:

Attention to detail and customer service lacks, the rooms are basic. On arrival, we weren’t allowed to use the pool or the rooftop due to a private party which was frustrating as this was the main reason for booking the hotel and we were only there there for three nights. We had booked an upgraded room (comfort room), but the DJ booth was directly underneath it. No understanding from the staff or offer of an apology. The hotel is expensive for what it is. They have a DJ Thursday to Friday on the rooftop, the hotel doesn’t have a luxury feel, the reception desk is busy and not a very relaxing experience. Our room didn’t get cleaned until 5pm each day, which was an awkward time as we would be coming back at that time to shower prior to dinner.

Tolle Lage und Ausblick

Die Terrasse, das Frühstück und das Personal waren super und außergewöhnlich. Wir haben jedes Frühstück genossen. Die Lage war um Lissabon zu erkunden prima.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war klein, leider hatten wir kaum Ausblick, wir hatten das kleinste Zimmer. Das war mit zwei großen Koffern doch ein bisschen zu eng. Leider war es im Juni sehr laut in Lissabon wegen den Feierlichkeiten (Santos), die man im Hotel ordentlich hören konnte. Dafür
kann das Hotel natürlich nichts.

Pros:

Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk, behulpzaam en attent. Het prachtige dakterras waarop je zowel 's ochtends als 's avonds heerlijk kunt zitten/eten. Heerlijk ontbijt met opties om additioneel (in prijs inbegrepen) te bestellen.

Cons:

In algemene zin was de kamer op de bovenste verdieping aan de kleine kant.
