Lagos Continental Hotel

good security and friendly staff

I stay at the Lagos continental quite often, and it is normally an excellent hotel. This time I have to say, the room really let me down. It was very, very damp. When I mentioned this, somebody came with a spray to try and hide the smell. After just a couple of hours. It was back. I only stayed there one night, so it was not unbearable. But I would expect more from a hotel of this calibre

The hotel was top notch. Security was great. Staff treated me very well and were professional. Hotel was clean. They held different events. Food was good and lots of variety of foods. The only thing was when I ordered room service they brought the wrong order but the correct it.
I will stay at this hotel again and again.

The broken internet in the Lobby for 4 days, broken internet in the rooms for a couple of days.

Nice hotel, but for a price I would expect the things are working

My room wasn’t as clean as It should have been. I could not use the bath because the tub looked old and dirty. I had to repeatedly ask for washcloths that should have been provided each time the room was cleaned. There was no robe present, no ironing board or iron. When I reserved the room there was supposed to had been a minibar included but I was told that they do not offer that service even though it’s advertised. I expected more from a room that’s expensive and I was staying for 9 days.

The service was great. Everyone was helpful and kind. The buffet had great options.

The lagos continental is beautiful. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always wearing beautiful smiles. However, for a 5 star hotel, the rooms may need some renovations to reflect the times and give occupants a true 5 star experience.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean; although a little outdated. The buffet was very good during breakfast and dinner; offering a diverse array of foods. All the staff my family & I encountered were exceptional. The bathroom in our suite only had a rain shower head that worked and the water from the shower spilled out into the entire bathroom floor. I would definitely recommend as a foreign traveler from America.

The standard in this property has fallen. The AC ij my room didn't work for the 3 days i was there and i didn't sleep well. Coming drom Texas, this eas a horrible experience. I reported this iasue and it was never fixed. Also called and waited for the bellman for over an hour and they didn't show up. I had to carry my 2 heavy bags by myself to the car.

My stay was exceptional. I’ve always stayed at Lagos Continental but this time, it was spectacular. I went with my husband and 2 teenage kids for 8 nights. Our adjoining club rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very nice amenities. We only ever ate at Ekabo and the food was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone at concierge, especially Samuel, helped to ensure we had our car hire set up and ready for us each day. He even went to the supermarket to get Gatorade for my daughter when she was ill. He assisted us with many sight seeing activities culminating in a wonderful yacht cruise on the Lagoon. He went above and beyond. They had a jazz band at the pool one night when we hanging out with our extended family. The next morning, there was an electric guitar player at the breakfast buffet at Ekabo. We appreciated all these many touches they added that made our stay extra special

I loved my stay. The hotel was clean and the staff was more than accommodating. I will be back soon.
