Cliff Resort

We stayed in Golden Nest Resorts in May 2017. Here are my observations about this place.
1. We had a one bed room suite. AC in both the living area and bedroom. Though the weather was pleasant and the AC was not be required, the rooms did not have good ventilation and the existing windows did not have a grill which forced us to keep the windows closed and switch-on the AC.
2. The hotel is situated on a hill top with excellent view.
3. Complimentary breakfast was good and replenished frequently.
4. Staff is very courteous and friendly.
5. The hotel is walk-able distance from the Yercaud lake. Most of the attractions and food joints are around the lake.
6. Few of the rooms are facing the road and not within the secure zone of the hotel. If you are travelling with family, request for a room within the hotel premises.
7. The living area had a sofa-bed combo. Convenient for kids to sleep without asking for a separate mattress etc.

Poor House Keeping.No water.Poor Response from House Keeping.Poor Reception.Very average food.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. So it easy to travel to the main touristy spots. However need some driving skills to get there as the hotel is on a hill.
The elderly would have a problem to walk upto the dinning area. They do have a drive if requested and friendly staff so it's easy to converse. Awesome view from the dinning area.
They have a small outdoor park to keep the kids and adults occupied. Overall good stay.

Few cons: Current fluctuations so ac/heater keep going off. Heater capacity is low, so it doesn't hold much for a decent shower. No swimming pool or any outdoor/indoor game facility.

We have booked two deluxe rooms, we reached hotel around 4.30pm, instead of giving two deluxe rooms they were forcing us to take one luxury room. Since we don't want to share one luxury room we asked them to give two deluxe rooms. They gave one deluxe room and told us they will provide one after 20 minutes saying there is a problem with lock they will repair it and give it.Even after 8pm we didn't get any room, after much arguments they gave us a deluxe room which was very badly stinking, even after spraying the room with perfume bottle which we bought. Bed sheets was dirty. we again called the manager to change the room but he kept on saying there is no other rooms available. After much argument they cleaned the room. and finally we got the room around 9.30pm. Our entire trip mood got spoiled only because of this hotel issue.

The hotel did not even WiFi.. The hotel did not deliver what it promised - it made my stay bad... I would not recommend this hotel unless you want to totally disconnect yourself from the world in all means....

Resort is close to lake. Good view from rooms. Food was excellent. Resort has good facilities but not maintained properly. If they improve on cleanliness and maintenance this resort will become one of the top resort in Yercaud. Rooms are big and balcony in each room is a plus point for this resort.

Food was just average. The approach road is really tricky.

Housekeeping is very bad to be improved. Restaurant service to be improved. battery car service is good.

Terrible Experience, no room Service , no Bar , 3 dishes in buffet (South Indian), Nothing was working, this is my Terrible Experience i every had.

I check in 22nd Friday...till 23rd evening no power supply only my floor..deluxe room has power back up..when I called they said they r working on...at last after I shouted they gave me ground floor room..only one ni8 no problem..and b.fast most of the item its over..they r not re filling...coz there was conference going on..all been supplied to there...if they can't manage all ..why they r accepting others stay...one coffee 40rs they charged only water...but when we have complement b.fast they r giving normally coffee..total management very poor..all the service labors r very young boys.. All most looks like under 18...special thing is...battery car...

No eggs for breakfast. No cereals or milk oily fried stuff mostly no dustbins in rooms no towels or soap ! Got towels later though
