Hotelopholdet levede desværre ikke op til forventningerne, dog god beliggenhed og morgenmad

Vi overnattede slet ikke på hotel no. 13 som vi egentlig havde booket. Vi blev flyttet til Hotel Oleana, et søster hotel, da Hotel no. 13 blev lukket ned. beliggenheden for Hotel Oleana var særdeles god og deres morgenmad ret god.

Cons:

Da vi ankom til Hotel no. 13, tjekkede vi ind online, vi syntes godt nok hotellet virkede ret tomt, men anyway, vi fik os tjekket ind. Senere havde vi et par spørgsmål vi gerne ville have besvaret, men stadig ingen på hotellet. Fandt et telefonnummer og fik fat i hotelchefen, der kunne fortælle os at hotellet var lukket, grundet strejken. Vi blev efterfølgende indlogeret på deres søsterhotel. Jeg har rejst meget og overnattet på mange forskellige hoteller verden over, og jeg må sige at den standard vi var blevet lovet overhovedet ikke levede op til vores forventninger. Vi havde 5 overnatninger og vi så ikke skyggen af et rengøringspersonale. Det endte med at jeg dag 4 selv var nede i receptionen efter toiletpapir, skraldeposer og nye håndklæder. Vi bad endda kun om at få rengøring en enkelt dag, men det skete aldrig. Så hotelopholdet levede desværre ikke op til forventningerne, da vi oplevede manglende information, ingen rengøring under opholdet og en væsentligt lavere standard end lovet

Pros:

Camera confortevole, posizione dell'hotel ottima per visitare il centro di Bergen e per raggiungere la stazione. Personale gentilissimo, dovevamo partire presto al mattino e il ragazzo alla reception si è adoperato per garantirci comunque una colazione.

Although we enjoyed Bergen very much. We won’t chose this hotel again

Good location and some positives. But outweighed by negatives I’m afraid. We expected better.
Pros:

Location is great. Walkable in 10 minutes from the station. Close to the UNESCO site too.

Cons:

Positives - comfy bed, good breakfast, big towels, quiet, location.
Negatives- No bathroom door - it had been removed. I get that we need to adapt to other cultural norms but this wasn’t expected. Layout of the room was very odd too. The only light came from the bathroom which is next to windows and although these are frosted, it’s an uninterrupted view onto a grotty courtyard. Bed was tiny. No cups/mugs for the tea/coffee.
We tried to change rooms but were told the hotel was completely full. Also told that some of the other rooms didn’t have bathroom doors either. For the price (and having such a good rating) we expected more. We weren’t helped by a company/property strike meaning breakfast was round the corner at a sister hotel.

Very nice
Pros:

We had to move to a sister hotel because of the strike . But the sister hotel is as nice and located at the same area. The breakfast was excellent

Nach der Buchung haben wir die Buchungsbestätigung erhalten ... allerdu'ings als wir ankammen war das Hotel zu.
Zum Glück haben wir eine Person getroffen, die uns eine Alternative in der Nähe gezeigt hat.

Pros:

Great location. Easy to get from airport to the hotel with rail stop very close to hotel and hotel is very close to major shops & tourist attractions.

Cons:

Arrived during a strike of some hotel workers & was not notified in advance. Breakfast served in sister hotel round the corner because of this . Asked for a couple of bathroom items to be replaced/ toppedup but it took 3 requests over 2 days for this to be done. No recompense or good will gesture was offered to compensate for the impact of strike.
