The staff were amazing and very helpful. The location is perfect.
The rooms were a little shabby. Cracks in the ceiling, the chair covers are in need of cleaning. The rest of the room was clean and smelled good.

Good value. Comfortable beds. Manager went above and beyond.
Location was fine. Convenient for what I was there for.
Trash bags left outside the hotel, making the property look grubby. The carpets and furniture are worn looking. Towels in room were tiny and thin. Luckily I always take my own.
I stayed at the Candlewood Suites Harrisburg-Hershey (Room 412, Oct 17–19, 2025) and was very disappointed. The room was visibly dirty—carpets and counters hadn’t been cleaned, the coffee maker and dishes were filthy, and dust covered most surfaces. The bathroom was not properly sanitized, and we were told towels were limited and there was no hand or body soap available.
Only one staff member was on duty all weekend, and no manager was available to resolve these issues. Having previously worked for Candlewood Suites and other hotel brands, I expected far better from IHG. I’ve contacted both IHG Corporate and Booking.com but haven’t received a response. I hope management addresses these concerns so future guests don’t experience the same.
This hotel is 12 years old. I have stayed here three times.
Clearly, top management is neglecting this facility. The chairs in my room would not even be fit to donate to Goodwill. Torn and worn.
The air conditioning reeked of a pet odor when used. Had to open the window to get a nice smell in the room.
Many areas of the hotel had worn carpet. The lobby furniture was even worn. Cigarette butts were all over the parking lot.
Staff was very nice and accommodating
Couldn’t provide us with a clean room late in the night when we arrived, and still haven’t been able to get a refund for the room we pre paid and couldn’t stay in since it was so filthy from the previous people. Do not stay here.
