Pros:

Super locatiin near the waterfront, Tepapa, restaurants and very friendly staff. Some lovely welcoming touches like milk in the fridge on our arrival.

Cons:

Check in (out of hours, after 4pm) and check out arrangements not quite joined up in terms of email instructions for access not received and no lock box keyfob in the box. The room was a little draughty in the very windy conditions for the period of our stay.

The apartment was great - the organisers were not!
Pros:

The location was perfect for the work I was there for. The room was spacious, had everything you need and was clean and tidy.

Cons:

There was no reception and so getting into the place was not easy. Myself and other people who were trying to check in, didn't know how to and had to ring the manager for instructions. It turns out that numbers and codes were emailed last minute and not everybody has email on their phone. Also, there were no instructions in the apartment regarding how to use your key to enter the building once the door was locked.

Great location close to many cafés and bars. Being able to buy a park was a bonus.
Pros:

Convenient to the wharf. Having the option to purchase a car park helps.

Cons:

No fan in the bathroom. Room surfaces could do with more attention, under the bed was quite dirty. Coffee machine doesn’t heat water very well.

Clean and safe and a great location for NZ museum & Botanical Gardens.
Pros:

Clean and had all facilities we needed (kitchen, private bathroom and balcony), and it was very central for walking to the NZ museum and Botanical gardens.

Cons:

We missed having a reception, it felt a bit impersonal to be collecting the key from a lock box. Also the dryer option in the washer / drying machine did not work (or the instructions were not sufficient for it to work).

Ideal for a short stay. Rooms are fine
Pros:

Quiet and easy walk to the quay area.

Cons:

There were no instructions for the washer/dryer .. asked staff they didn’t know how to work it either.
The kitchen area is cramped.
We left prior to staff being in reception.. the downstairs door to the street wouldn’t open.
The entry area was scruffy and unwelcoming.
Didn’t realise the property was located on the 4th floor of the building (including the reception)

Our room was tired-looking. Also, there was a used bottle of milk on the kitchen counter. I’m not sure whether the cleaning staff accidentally forgot to replace it with a fresh bottle in the refrigerator. For the price we paid, it was not the quality expected.

Difficult access. Noisy and expensive.
Cons:

Process to get access was terrible. 9 emails and over 35 minutes. The room has single glazed windows and is above a busy st. Also club bass music playing until after midnight. You can hear people walking in other rooms and making coffee in the hallway. It was insanely expensive for the experience and quality of property.

Pros:

Excellent location only 3 or 4 minutes walk from the Museum of New Zealand. Very good café just next door. The hotel has parking directly across the street if requested for an additional fee. The apartment was clean and fresh. Washer/dryer was very useful. Liked having a balcony. Room refreshed daily.

Cons:

Our room had a step from the kitchen area into the rest of the room. Even though there is signage warning you, I still managed to forget twice. Not injured, but jaring. Be aware.

Perfect spot to explore from. Has all we needed to just relax and enjoy our trip.
Pros:

We loved the location! We loved the fact that someone was considerate enough to put that aircon on for our arrival as the sun was streaming in! Everything was clean and the bed was super comfy. Would have been perfect with a decaf coffee sachet :)

Cons:

We didn’t really dislike anything. We could hear the other guests leaving and moving about but no biggie. Some paint work needs a freshen up but it’s a minor niggle. Couldn’t figure out how to order brekkie though

Pros:

The location was excellent, a short walk to every amenity that was needed. All of the night life was just a short walk away. The supermarket etc a short walk. Bowling is across the road as well. So close to an array of different cuisines to choose from It is in the best location.
The room was clean and tidy, and there was a beautiful hand written note welcoming us.
There was a balcony off the room, which was a great place to be to watch the hustle and bustle.
