Taj Vilas

Pretty basic stay for a trip to Taj Mahal, good if you’re just looking to crash before going in.

The hotel is nice but a bit tired in places, the staff are friendly but we had booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and were only allowed one extra bed. After requested a bed finally at 23:30 we got it and had to pay for it too! Not impressed at all and unfortunately means I won’t return

Except the breakfast all other aspects were very good

good size room. only small thing is the shower is a hand held with no bracket to put into & the water was not very hot. good breakfast with choice.

Hotel in general is in good condition, clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Unfortunately, my last day, I asked one of the bellboys for an ATM, he was very friendly was starting to help me out when the guy from the front desk (he might have been the supervisor as his uniform was different from anyone) came and asked to him to go away then he ask what I needed, I explained and he just said go outside and walk to the left; I asked if it was too far or where exactly, he just said go and walk. It was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I ended walking for about 20 min and didn't see any ATM. This same guy checked me in and was not pleasant so shame on this kind of service which can make the whole difference.

Hotel was just right for the short stay we had - close to the Taj Mahal, very co-operative staff and a good breakfast was provided as part of our Expedia booking.

Really appreciated the hotel providing an extra bed for free too when we required it - that was really unexpected, but very welcome :-)

Very nice experience.

The hotel is quite close to the Taj and better accessed from Delhi via the expressway. Rooms are descent and clean. Had minor challenged with the intercom. Food was ok for hotel of this class. Reasonable for a short stay.

Wonderful in all regards

Location is decent. You can find McDonald's across the road. Taj Mahal is nearby. Their buffett breakfast is also nice. Non veg lovers will find the chicken sausage (nicely done) with boiled eggs and an omelette counter (their masala omelettes is very tasty). For vegetarians, they have nicely done Upma, hash brown and other stuff which makes it a very good choice for breakfast.
Rooms are clean, so is lobby. Room service is prompt.
Special mention for extra bedding and their service. After a marriage function we came back at 3 AM and asked for the extra bed we have paid for. Within 5 minutes their folks are at my door and arranged the same in no time. That's great.

This is a very good hotel for the price (worth more than what you pay). Very clean, professional staff, great service, very good - and reasonable - restaurant considering the area, We stayed here to visit Agra and Taj Mahal and this is a very good location to do just that.

All is very good and if I were to suggest one single thing it would be to partitioned shower (or screened) so you can have a dry bathroom.

It was pleasant experience staying at the hotel. Neat and clean.Food was also of good quality.

Overall good friendly staff breakfast very good only minor issues of roomcleanliness and some mossies

Nice hotel near to Tajmahal. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are in good condition. Also hotel restaurant is good but little over priced. The ample variety is there in breakfast menu. Overall it is a great hotel in that location.

Excellent Travel Desk and help from Salamat who organized wonderful time.
Made us feel at home.
We did travel in a family group with kids.

I would recommend this hotel with no reservations especially Salamat from the Travel Desk.

awesome stay.so peacefull

I have just stayed for one night in the hotel and the next day morning, it was a good room, clean, organized. The room was very silent and the air conditioner worked fine, what leaves a good choice for a good night of rest.
I took 3 baths there, the shower was very good. The amenities(shampoo, soap, etc) were just regular.
As I arrived from Delhi really hungry, I ordered some food, American Chopsuey. It was the most horrible food I have ever had in my life.
Even though, in the next morning, the breakfast was very decent and I could enjoy it.
The hotel is 5 minutes away from Taj Mahal by car.

Good hotel and great location close to the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort. My only complaint was the shower was not hot.
