Room needed a remodel. Promised “view” wasn’t there.
Terrible experience during my stay, I had made the reservation via booking, I paid an additional fee for breakfast, at no time was I informed or given the option to choose the type of coffee. When I arrived for my accommodation I was surprised with a voucher for coffee, limiting the choice of dishes, I did not have the option to choose the buffet.
On the first day I didn't want some options that made up my dish and I had the option of exchanging for fruits and yogurt, although limited and without a buffet option, it was still an additional option, to my surprise, on the third day of my stay, I was informed that there was an exchange in the restaurant manager and that there was more option to exchange items from the dish. Leaving what was already limited even worse, without the slightest prior notice and with changes during the stay.
I've been to the hotel other times, certainly for a next stay in SF, Stanford Court is no longer an option.
Great view friendly people
This is something out of there control but elevators were down and we had to use staff elevator in the kitchen but very friendly people
The room was a corner 2 queen beds room. The space was adequate. We were on a lower floor and heard the noise from the streets. Next time I would ask for a higher floor.
I like the room enough but would have preferred a bit more space for a premium room rate.
Stanford Court has a great location. Loved that you could drive in a covered area to be dropped off. Jeffrey at the front desk and every staff member we met were very friendly. They gave bottled water and have a refillable water filter available which helped a lot. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The best hotel stay I’ve had in a while.
Excellent
The location and staff get a 5/5 but everything else is just average. The room was a decent size but looking a little tired in places and the corridors were a little dated also.
The lifts struggled when we were there (October 2025) but the service lift worked fine so wasn't actually an issue, just a little strange for a 4 star hotel.
We didn't have breakfast but the free coffee and bottled water in reception was a welcome bonus.
We would stay again but felt there should be a bit more for the price and actual value was only so so
