Pros:

My kids loved this location, the size of the room but especially the breakfast every morning. It was delicious & the staff was extremely friendly. The water bottles were a plus!!

Zeker een aanrader om san fransisco te verkennen.

Goede locatie, ruime kamer. Fijne fitnessruimte. Heel vriendelijk personeel!

Cons:

De kamer kon wel properder zijn. Haren in de badkamer van iemand anders. Ook jammer dat er geen echte frigo aanwezig was maar eerder een soort van koelingsbox.

I love the hotel and it is worth of staying there.

The facility is more than I expect --its view, its space, its cleanliness, and its central location. Especially it is very flexible because it allows us to early check-in without charging us extra dollars.

This hotel is very cozy, clean and comfortable, and its main advantage is the extremely friendly and caring staff, who create an atmosphere of a real home and are always ready to help. Polite and pleasant people work there. They quickly resolve any issues. The room is spacious, cozy and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the window offers a wonderful view. The hotel is located in a convenient location. It is easy to get to the main places of interest.

Highly recommended (SOLO TRAVELER)
Pros:

I booked the room view and it was amazing! Amazing view on the city and ocean.
The hotel position is perfect, the cable car stop is right in front of the hotel.
Safe place for a solo traveler, many restaurants around and close to main attraction.
Staff very kind.
Gym open h24 with all the benefits you need.
There’s a restaurant, and they have option to rent bike, both electric and regular but for the electric one I suggest you to require it some days before your arrival, otherwise there’s a rental right down the street.

We would have liked a full length mirror and breakfast included would have been nice.
Pros:

We liked where it is situated not too close to downtown but everything is still walking distance.

Cons:

I don’t like the carpets! They are hideous! We didn’t like the fact that our full length mirror was taken away with no explanation as to why and never replaced!

Great Location, But Little Else to Recommend
Pros:

I recently stayed at Stanford Court in San Francisco and booked a Skyline View Room, which is advertised as offering "San Francisco skyline or partial bay views." Unfortunately, the room I received fell far short of that description. My view consisted primarily of another building and the side of the Fairmont Hotel, with virtually no skyline view to speak of. If the view is an important part of your booking decision, I would strongly temper expectations.

The room itself was average at best and not what I expected given the property's reputation and pricing. More concerning was the cleanliness. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the clothing cabinet, suggesting that parts of the room had not been properly cleaned for quite some time.

The overall condition of the hotel also left much to be desired. The carpets in the hallways leading to the guest rooms were noticeably stained, which created a worn and poorly maintained impression. The Mixing Room lobby restaurant lacked atmosphere and appeal, and while I did not dine there, it did not feel particularly inviting.

Overall, this hotel did not live up to the image presented on its website. Aside from its excellent location atop Nob Hill, I found very little that distinguished the property from many other standard hotels. Given the rates charged, I expected a much higher level of quality, maintenance, and attention to detail.

The one standout during my stay was Roger from valet parking, who was exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful. He provided excellent service and was one of the few highlights of an otherwise disappointing experience.

Stanford Court's location is outstanding, but the room quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest experience did not justify the premium price. I left feeling that the property did not deliver what was advertised and would not choose to stay here again.
