Would stay again . Just a shock at first entering through the men’s pub
Pros:

Rooms spotlessly clean and large with excellent showers

Excellent time and thankyou
Pros:

The hotel was lovely and clean staff were very friendly, I would definitely recommend to friends.

Cons:

I know the hotel is still going on with improvements but it would of been nice to get some light lunch and not wait till 6pm. Also loved the bathroom but it would of been nice to have some hooks to hang my dressing gown on. Wasn't over keen with radiator in shower area.

Good value for your money
Pros:

Breakfast was really nice and just downstairs, so we didn't have to go anywhere else to have a nice full English.
Our room was very clean, this was just like in other reviews, no disappointment.

Cons:

In our room there was no shelf, no chest of drawers, no bedside table, no wardrobe. It was a little bit difficult to sort our things during a 4-night-stay.

Ill book a different venue bext time i am in the area.

Cons:

On arrival, admittedly early I was brusquely informed booking in was not til 3: no offer of leaving luggage.
Booking out was 10. Rather a long time to sort roons, although i could get in earluer on extra payment.
Breakfast sausage was the worst I'd tasted in many years: very low meat content.
Shower cubicle too small to turn round in.

Don't judge the hotel by the outside. It's really a comfortable place to stay.
Pros:

The twin beds were really comfortable. Bathroom clean, lovely shower. Delicious breakfast. Free onsite parking. It looked like the whole sleeping quarters had been revamped. Very nice. Snow white towels.

Cons:

Our room was facing the road ( I had sent a message to request a room facing the back) & it was very noisy. As it was hot, we had to keep the window opened. A fan was also provided
