Excellent stay in Jember — outstanding staff and a great gym
Pros:

I had a genuinely pleasurable experience at Aston Jember. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall service made the trip feel easy and stress-free.

A special thank you to the staff who went above and beyond: Mr. Hakam, Mr. Agung, Mr. Christino, and Mr. Sugi. They were consistently helpful, professional, and attentive, and their support made a real difference throughout the stay.

One highlight for me was the gym — it’s well equipped and the personal trainer there was excellent, making it a great facility if you want to keep training while you’re in town.

If you’re visiting Jember, I strongly recommend staying at Aston Jember. The team will genuinely help make your trip better.

A really nice and comfortable hotel
Pros:

The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice. The swimming pool was quite large and the coffee shop next to it was a nice place to sit. The staff were friendly and helpful

Rooms need updating, some stuff not professional
Pros:

Soundproof from outside noise was great

Cons:

The room we got needs updating. Old wallpapers and flooring with signs of use, mold in shower.
We got to the hotel midnight and receptionist said that there were no rooms available. So we had to get a room through booking.com, which confused the stuff. We had to wait some time while stuff figures it out. And apparently they did have available rooms. We had to argue with the receptionist that they actually did have rooms, while he was saying the opposite

Pros:

Very good, got a free upgrade thanks to mr faiz and ms naila. They were very kind and welcoming. when we first came through the elevators, they immediately helped us with our baggage and checkin went smooth and fast

Pros:

Held High School reunion in Jember Aston Hotel, really cozy place, delicious meal and beverage, plus superb hospitality. Highly recommended. It's worth noting that the restaurant/cafe is also perfect place for business meeting with client.

The room was spacious
Pros:

The room was spacious and the renovated bathroom was very clean, as expected from previous stays. However, the lift broke down during a conference, causing delays. The bed and pillows were less comfortable than anticipated.

Cons:

During my stay, the lift broke down, and I found the bed and pillows to be uncomfortable. Additionally, the lobby had been converted into a dining area. While I was speaking with a friend, staff moved large tables, which felt a bit intrusive. I understand they were likely preparing for a seminar the next morning, but it interrupted our conversation and made the experience less pleasant, especially since I had a guest with me.

Hotel pulito e confortevole, Staff gentile e pronto ad accogliere la nostra richiesta di stanze comunicanti. Ottima colazione, varia e con piatti sia asiatici che occidentali. Posizione non centrale ma comoda da raggiungere in pochi minuti con auto o taxi.

I have stayed at Ashton Hotel numerous times, and the staff is always very friendly and professional.

Cons:

What I dislike about the hotel is that people were smoking in the restaurant. They should designate a separate area for smoking.
