Perfect place for a relaxing, no stress stay.
Pros:

The location was magnificent. Wonderful to watch sunrise, sunset and the beautiful stars at night. It was also very quiet even though it was close to public amenities. Such a relaxing spot.

Obviously the views and cleanliness... actually amazing ... If I wasn't working and staying with a client I would hire the room again for ourselves

Cons:

The old single beds in the second room that I had to take because priority goes to the client ... We are retired Hotel/ Motel ~ Retirement Village Managers ... I am sorry but they have seen their days and it's time ... Felt like I was sleeping on a horse hair bed from the 1830's or earlier

Check you get the room you booked
Pros:

The location looked great. The room we booked was not the room we got. Positively they agreed to totally refund. It is still not clear whether the fault was theirs or booking.com (as was asserted). The lady on the front desk was faultless. Her manager curt, although she agreed to refund.

Cons:

The fact we booked weeks ago and no one told us the room type was not available. We then could have booked something else and not be left roomless and stressed on our long awaited holiday.

The fact that we drove all the way to the sunny coast to have our trip turn upside down,were put in a completely diff apartment, to the point that we just left, refund took 3 weeks to get back to use and that was thanks to paying through paypal or we may have lost our money

A charming room with direct water views perfect for a weekend getaway.
Pros:

This "water's edge" room (005) was comfortable and pleasantly decorated with a marine theme. The amenities were well set out with separate bathroom, laundry area and toilet - a good arrangement rarely found in hotel/motels. The hanging and shelf space was small but adequate, the bed comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with a full-size fridge. Most interesting was the spa bath located, not in the bathroom but in the main living area which enables guests to watch television while relaxing in the bath. And, being on the ground floor, the sliding patio doors open directly out onto a lawn area only metres from the water. The adjacent cafe is also a perfect place for breakfast. A perfect couples' getaway room.

Cons:

There are no fences of barriers dividing the grassed patio area so it would be possible for a guest to walk along and see into other people's rooms. - not that there was any incidence of this. Also, the louvres on one of the sliding louvre doors which serve as blackout curtains would not close into the locked vertical position which created a slight privacy problem - requiring an improvised solution (a broom propped against the louvres). Otherwise everything was good.

Lovely location for the boardwalk and restaurants

Cons:

Photos were very misleading
Apartment we booked was 2 bedroom executive for 5 people.
No 5 th bedroom and tried to say we had to pay extra for the rollaway bed, essentially suggested was my fault even thou I stipulated on booking request the number of people and paid accordingly.
Coming out of lift on level 2 onto building paper on the floor, dusty etc .
Apartment rusty fixtures, plaster pulling away from walls, overall very disappointing

Cons:

Air conditioning didn’t work all week. Very uncomfortable nights even with doors and windows open (which had no screens either, letting in insects and birds) the initial staff member at least offered us a fan, however the other staff members when I asked if any progress on getting it looked at just said they didn’t know and have sent an email. No genuine attempt was made to rectify the situation, very disappointing. Also the floor was covered in sand on arrival and the spa pump was very noisey and about to blow up. We won’t be returning and recommending the same to others.

Have stayed many times but this was the worse room we have ever had in 15 years

The view is amazing, best location on Bulcock Beach. The room very disappointing.

Cons:

Rusty outdoor furniture, no clothes dryer it was broken, power in room went off, back of remote missing, rug very dirty, mould in shower and toilet,
floors not clean, the noise from room 202 which is being refurbished from 9am to 4 pm, we should have been told that this was happening before we booked. We could not relax and needed to go out and did not have the enjoyment of the view and the room. Couch is bent in the middle, chairs are scratched and missing paint, no basket pegs or cloths airer, Paid to much for a 2-star accommodation. Complained when we arrived but nothing was done and we were offered a 5% discount when we come back. We have had that offer for years. That would not make me come back.

A glorious short break allowing plenty of walking as well as plenty of relaxation.
Pros:

The view from my unit was exceptional - right on the waterfront, with a view of the quiet water as well as the surf. Everything i needed was very close, easy walking distance, from morning coffee and breakfast below the units to exceptional fish and chips take away near by and a plethora of restaurants. The staff were also exceptional in their willingness to make sure everything was suitable and my needs were met. And the private rooftop bbq facilities were wonderful

Cons:

I have no complaints at all.
