Pros:

Sauber, Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Gute Lage + Sport Möglichkeiten (Fitness + Schwimmhalle). Frühstück das Beste was ich in Indonesien gegessen habe, eine große Auswahl und sehr hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Meetingroom zu nah an den Zimmern, es ist dadurch zu laut. Die Teilnehmer schreien zum Teil, dadurch kann man sich nicht ausruhen. Wenn man die Türe des Meetingraums schließen würde, dann würde es weniger Lärm geben.

Nur ein Aufzug, dadurch kommt es manchmal zu Wartezeit (waren aber im Rahmen).

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt, jederzeit wieder
Pros:

Das Metro Park View würde ich sofort wieder buchen. Ein wirklich angenehmes Hotel mit bequemen Betten, sauberen Zimmern, gutem Bad und fantastischem Frühstück.
Selten, dass man so positiv überrascht wird, so dass wir direkt 5 Nächte geblieben sind. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden, es gibt auch einen Shuttle-Service zum Bahnhof und Flughafen Semarang, das Hotel liegt sehr nah an der Kota Lama, das Frühstück bietet sehr viel Auswahl und schmeckt sehr lecker, das hoteleigene Restaurant Obsidian ist gut, es gibt eine schöne Bar am Hotel, die Preise sehr fair. Ein recht großes Gym ist auch vorhanden, aber etwas schwierig zu finden.

Cons:

Einzig das Schwimmbad war leider wegen Renovierung geschlossen, aber es wird bestimmt gut werden, wenn wieder geöffnet. Und bei den Zimmern würde ich, trotz des ernüchternden Blicks auf den Hinterhof, nach einem Zimmer hinten raus fragen, weil die straßenseitigen Zimmer vielleicht etwas lauter sein könnten.

Centraal gelegen hotel
Pros:

Het hotel heeft een gunstige ligging: tegenover de Aloon Aloon en op loopafstand van Kota Lama.
Het personeel is allervriendelijkst.

Het ontbijtbuffet biedt voor elk wat wils. Er is een goede koffiebar gevestigd in het hotel.

Cons:

Ik vond de kamer op de tweede verdieping wat gehorig, met name door het verkeer en de naburige moskee.

Voor mij waren de matrassen en hoofdkussens aan de harde kant.

Verder kon ik niet echt terecht bij de receptie om vervoer te regelen van de ene naar de andere stad. Ook is met mijn melding rond de kluis die niet werkte, niets gedaan helaas.

La habitación era grande y tenía bastante variedad de comida en el restaurante. Además ofrecían un servicio gratuito de transfer al aeropuerto que funcionaba muy bien. Personal muy amable.

Cons:

Las instalaciones eran antiquísimas. Estaba ubicado en una zona de mucho ruido y la habitación no estaba insonorizada, por lo que apenas dormimos.

4 Nights October 2025
Pros:

Easy walk between Old Town and a good mall. There are some food street venders close also.

The Alun-Aluun over the road is good on the Friday and Saturday nights (I read that it is also Sunday but we were gone by then) with food markets, a few things for the kids and music.

Breakfast is plenty.

The swimming pool is being fixed so not available until some time in November according to a note in the room but they can get you to another pool.

Rooms are spacious with a fridge (we like a fridge).

We had 2 rooms and would try and get rooms away from the street next time (the one away from the street was much quieter). The mosque close by is very loud and goes for a long time at 3:40-ish.
