Metro Hotel

I couldn't have asked for a better location! The hotel is perfectly situated in the center of Myeongdong, providing seamless access to two subway lines.

This is the ideal base for any traveler, offering a consistently safe, spotless room and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Essential amenities like a water dispenser, instant coffee, and a microwave are readily accessible on the second floor.

What elevates this hotel is the service, particularly from Ms. Elin at the reception. Her exceptional anticipation and proactive assistance truly define a great hotelier. She made my stay effortless, showcasing a level of genuine service that is incredibly rare today.

My wife and I stayed in one of the larger rooms with one queen and one single beds. But they only allowed one luggage rack when we have two luggage. We have to put the other luggage on the floor and it’s challenging for elderly folks to bend up and down to get our clothes from the luggage. The other thing is the wall socket is loose. I use a CPAP machine and I’m worried every night the wall socket will come off loose and sparks fly.

Very comfortable stay for 5 nights. Room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Excellent location and subway very short walk. Starbucks and convenience store in lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wow pass machine in lobby and reception staff can top up (much easier than using machine in subway!)

My room was fine but what stands out in the memory is the helpful and capable staff and the location which is ideal. The walk to the royal palaces is easy and full of interest and crosses the Cheonggyecheon stream, a fine example of urban regeneration. The main railway station is within easy reach and the neighborhood although busy during the day and evening is reassuringly safe.

Location is incredible- the rooms are a bit aged but it is clean. I would have liked more power sockets (we found it hard to find available power sources and had to pull out the air purifier and desk lamp in order to charge our phones, watches, headphones etc.), but it’s a really small ‘issue’. The gym needs to be pre-booked and closes, which does require a bit of planning. The laundry options are useful as well but there’s only 1 washer and 1 dryer, so that also requires planning.

The staff were super helpful, having a 7-11 downstairs is GOLD, the location is so good and we loved the 2nd floor hangout space. Will be back!

Older property but well kept, very clean and safe. Lots of dining options and if you walk around early in the morning as the stores are open up it gives you a nice local neighborhood vibe.

Metro Hotel is one of cleanest hotels I've stayed at. The staff was excellent, nice, friendly, helpful, and really wonderful. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The lounge area and balcony was clean and a nice area to wait in. Only thing is I would like paper plates in the microwave area. But other than that definitely worth staying at!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The second floor was amazing. There was an eating and lounging area. There was a seperate door to go through and that area of the hotel was for families. There was even a small kitchen and play place for kids. Great for the patents and great for kids. Totally separated from the rest of the hotel.
And the food and shopping nearby is crazy !!! Hundreds upon hundreds of places to choose from.

This location is excellent situated in the heart of a vibrant area with numerous dining and shopping options all within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious and comfortably accommodated me and three friends, with plenty of room to spare. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved the location of this property. The bed was not comfortable at all though and the shower wasn’t cleaned behind the screen door and hair left was evident.
