The location was ideal

Cons:

I did not feel the rooms lived up to a deluxe room. The binds in the bathroom didnt fit. It was noisy and there was no chair. I felt it was poor value for money

The best breakfast in Windermere
Pros:

The landlady did a fantastic job during our stay works so hard as do the other staff. Lovely dining area were we had breakfast twice , what can I say probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time piping hot and tasted delicious all locally sourced ( the bacon and sausage were fab ). The bar was very welcoming and was busy in the evening which is nice to see all the locals supporting local pubs. We will definitely be stay here again...

Perfectly adequate for a short break
Pros:

Good central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast

Cons:

Beds were a bit lumpy and the furniture is tired. We had to stand on a wobbly stool to reach the shower activator

Pros:

This was such a pleasant experience . The room was clean and cozy, and the location was absolutely perfect. The staff were very friendly and genuinely lovely people , and the food was really nice . We would happily stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, perfect for what we needed
Pros:

Nice family, dog friendly pub with accommodation above, rooms were very clean and functional, fresh flowers in the room fresh bottled water, we were in the family room which was a great size, mattress might need replaced soon tho as starting to show wear, pub closes at 11 even at weekend so there was no noise

Cons:

Everything was good, one night there was no food I take it the chef phoned in sick which was disappointing but these things happen

Enjoyed our stay staff were very good, downside is the up keep of the hotel in general.
Pros:

Breakfast was well cooked, tasty and followed what we ordered the night before. The decoration of the inside of the hotel

Cons:

The decoration of the inside of the hotel is badly needed to be upgraded. There is mould on the window frames in our room.

Lovely !!!
Pros:

Stayed here previously. Good location and central to where we need to be. A shame that there was no power, due to works going on outside, so bar and restaurant closed. Plans had been put in place for breakfast, but power back on by late evening. Wonderful breakfast as usual, very welcoming owners/ managers. Will visit again

It was excellent and we even ate dinner there.
Pros:

Kaz was terrific and helped us with everything. Seeing I had a cane she took my suitcase upstairs without being asked
We had a tight morning schedule and she had our breakfast ready promptly at 9 so we go make our lakes tour one
day and our train the next.
When asked booking.com was discouraging about this request and sent me a curt email

Good location, nice and clean but other than that ...
Pros:

Really clean, good breakfast.

Cons:

Barman was really snotty when I asked if they sold coffee. Couldn't sleep because so loud until 1am. The bed was beyond uncomfortable, ridiculously bad, hotels need to learn to change their mattresses more often than they do.
