Fire alarm woke up the hotel during the night with no apologies.Very mediocre breakfast. Steep stairs to the room

The room above is 214 and floor boards werevery creaky every time someone moved we could hear and they moved a lot.
After I mentioned it staff they didn't book anyone above our room which was nice.
It was still a nice hotel and good value for money

Room was basic, which is what we booked. All lovely n clean with beautiful white towels, good shower and air con. Tv perfectly positioned,, staff happy to top up supplies for tea n coffee..
Mattresses need updating, very uncomfortable in room 207, Pillows very flat, need new ones. Would make such a difference

Staff are friendly, and happy to lend a helping hand. Breakfast was nicely served to your room with a friendly smile at a time to suit you

This is not a four star hotel, it is not even a decent three star hotel. The staff are rude, the hotel is tired, the beds are terrible and I am still waiting for a refund weeks later. It is best to avoid this one.
