The room was nice and big aswell as being very comfortable and clean
The ceiling lighting didn't work as on the pictures
Room was very good. Everything you need, good condition and smart.
Newly refurbished bathroom (made the rest of the room look dated).
Bed was comfortable.
Location and parking made it easy to walk into town centre.
Staff very polite and helpful.
Breakfast in room arrived on time.
Bathroom floor seemed unreasonably cold.
Brown carpet in room hiding possible horrors. It was very old decor, and furnishings in room could do with being updated. However, I recognise that refurbishments were going on in other parts of hotel, so this may be on their 'to do' list, in time.
The whole building on stairs had creaky floorboards, and particularly in my room at bedside. Needs to be checked when up upgrading. However, not enough to disturb me.
Spacious rooms and friendly staff
The whole night it was noisy. People were talking and walking through upstairs.
The price was reasonable
There was no toilet for guests to use and I hadn't checked in to my room to use the toilet in there. I jad a long drive from Manchester and told the receptionist I was desperate for the toilet. She td me there were no toilets to use apart for my room which i was too early for check in. There are building contractors working there where do the go for the toilet? Where do the staff go for the toilet.
? As I told the receptionist I was desperate I think they could have let me use a toilet for staff, the contractors or an empty room. The room was very cold during the night.
The room was spacious and there was loads of room to move about and I always strip the bed before I leave a hotel room
Staff were very friendly and efficient; the breakfast to the room was a lovely touch and nicely presented, especially as I was off to work. Nice to be able to have breakfast in bed!
The room seemed cold even with the air con heater on full and the duvet was thin so I had to fold it over double. I had laminate flooring which was cold to walk on. The room could do with a lick of paint and the shower was a bit weak.
