The hotel staff and everyhting about it was amazing. The attention to customer service and details is extraordinary. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend everyone I know to stay here when in Barcelona.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and close to many metro lines. Easy to get to from the airport. Friendly staff and good service. Good breakfast.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Olivia Balmes. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, from the doorman to the pool bar attendant. Excellent service. The premises are very clean, modern, and well maintained. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on! We enjoyed the fitness center, it has all the basics, including a filtered water dispenser (not easy to come by in this part of the world!), and the adjacent rooftop deck is a nice option for laying out an exercise mat. Loved the location in the Esquerra de l'Eixample, which has more of a locals feel than the Barri Gotic yet is close enough to reach most major attractions by foot or public transit. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, and other services nearby. The hotel also served as a nice place to return mid-day for a siesta break, as it would get very warm in the afternoon (we visited in July) and dividing up our day into 2 segments made sense on several levels. If we ever return to Barcelona, we would definitely consider staying at Olivia Balmes again.
Wonderful hotel in a great area in Barcelona. What I loved most about this hotel was the wonderful staff that was always there to help. the breakfast was really delicious and we enjoyed it every morning.

A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. Great location near main shopping street and metro.
Beautiful rooftop pool which was welcomed after sight seeing in the summer heat. Reception staff welcomed us with bottles of water whenever we came back in from our day out and Roberto at the pool bar always took time to chat and ask about our day. Breakfast was faultless.
