Magnifique séjour , calme et reposant dans un grand confort et c est très agréable et très chaleureux

Isolation phonique un peu légère, les portes des couloirs claquent souvent le soir et la nuit, c'est dommage. L'emplacement et l'intérieur sont très chouettes
Chambre correcte . Basique .
Très mauvaise literie .
Fenêtres impossibles à ouvrir et une fois ouvertes , impossible de les fermer .
L’accueil doit être disponible 24 h / 24 . Or les portes étaient closes à notre arrivée vers 15 h et nous avons dû attendre 18 h pour profiter de notre chambre . Aucune explication , pas de contact téléphonique . Situation dans un quartier très mal fréquenté .
La décoration est plutôt sympa.
C'est sympa qu'il y ait des chats.

L’emplacement
Le réceptionniste a mon arrivée était pas agréable
There is a very secure parking area behind the property and, while there was a height restriction of about 1.98m, we managed to get our car in with two kayaks on the roof! The lovely receptionist checked us in and when we reached our room we found she had given us a room from which we could see our car.
The hotel is well placed to walk into town. There is a bakery just around the corner and the receptionist gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant within a couple of minutes walk. There was a wider choice of good restaurants in the old town, which we sampled on the second day.
The room was comfortable and functional. There was a separate toilet cubicle and shower room, both were basic but functional.
All the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly.
Perhaps it would be good to provide directions to the car parking before arrival as it was a little tricky to find.

Even though there were awkward roadworks to access the car park they helped guide us to secure parking.

A bit disappointed with the Ashley Hotel
Location was good (near staion) & it was clean. They are the good points.
Now for the faults!
Corridors to room virtually pitch black, had to use a torch.
Reception unmaned most of the time.
Nowhere to charge a phoe in room.
No bedside tables.
Cracked glass in window.
What little furniture there was, is in a very poor state of repair.
Tiny bathroom & shower.
Would not stay there again. There are many others in th area, fat better, and for very little more in price.
The room provide better comfort than expeced after reading of references. I agree that the lighting may be better but it is good enough for normal activity. Room has average size and by my opinion it was nicely clean. This is given mainly by the fact that the room is designed to be easily cleaned.
The hotel surroundings is very attractive for youths making mess on the street. But it is not a guilty of this hotel.
REALLY helpful staff who ensured that we could get wherever we wanted. English spoken at the hotel. Room and all facilities were very clean. Easy walk to town and trams very close. Great value for money.
Room quite small, but big bed.
Car park is tight with narrow access.... anyone with a large SUV may have to think again or park elsewhere.
