Orange Tree House - Ao Nang

I had been here before, this is my second time around. Got exactly the same room. Feel it a little worn out from the last time which was 9 months ago. But still impressed with lots of tree and how they are kept tidy. It's not direct to the beach but it is not that far.

Hotellet ligger ett stykke unna alt, men vi fikk låne to sykler under hele oppholdet på 10 dager så var helt supert. tok ca. 15 min maks å sykle ned til stranden og ao nang sentrum. Tuk Tuk koster 200 bath en vei som også var helt greit. Hotellet har mange små søte hytter og bungalower som lever opp til bildene. men badene er delvis utendørs så man må forvente en del dyr. Vi fikk problemer en natt med noe vi trudde var bedbugs og da vi henvendte oss i resepsjonen var det ingen hjelp å få ettersom ingen forsto hva vi mente. det viste seg å være noe annet insekt for vi var kun plaget med dette den ene natten. De ansatte er veldig hyggelig å imøtekommende men ingen kan si noe mer enn ett par ord på engelsk. Ved alle henvendelser fikk vi som regler OK som svar selvom de ikke forstå ett ord av hva vi sa. resultatet er var en del misforståelser og en del irritasjon. frokosten var akkurat det man kan forvente med noen ulike valg og det man behøver. Uteområde var helt fantastisk med ett flott basseng og mye plass.

It was an overall good stay. Perfect for people who wants to stay surrounded by nature.

Hotel out of town and shuttle not very frequent. Bikes in the hotel were free but were of a very poor standard. Did laundry and a number of my items came back discolured

Très belle hotel. Avec un bon accueil. Obligation de louer un scooter pour se déplacer au centre ville ou à la plage. En quelque minute.

Bodde her 9 netter, hadde 2 bungalower. Veldig god valuta for pengene, kommer gjerne tilbake!
Eneste reelle minus var frokosten som absolutt har forbedringspotensiale....

Le logement , un chalet cottage , mérite d'être rafraîchi . Environnement et piscine agréables , petit déjeuner très sommaire .
A l'écart , donc calme ,
L'absence de restaurant proche est un problème si on n'est pas motorisé.

i wanted to stay in a location that is off the noisy path. this location is wonderful. there is no bad sewer smell around the property. the landscape is well kept. the host and staffs are wonderful. i told them that i am vegetarian and they cooked me special breakfast for that. i was very grateful. they are most flexible and helpful in making booking for tours. they provided free bike that i can use around town. i took the bike into the shuttle and went in town and it was no problem. they will give you beach towel and bike lock too (free). i stayed here for few days and not sure where to go, but the property is so wonderful that i needed up staying the entire vacation (8days) with the bigger room. also, they gave me an upgrade. my only concern is that the bathroom ceiling in the smaller room is not completely sealed off so you get bugs and misquitos. this would be a big decision to stay or not. i almost left the first night because you get bitten alive even under the covers with AC on. i had to apply misquito spray to bed! the smaller individual rooms were very closed tight space for 2 people.

Quiet and peaceful setting, however out off the main town and either need transport (suggest moped for $8 day) or use the hotel bus. Great to unwind and enjoy rural Krabi after a busy beach day. Amenities / breakfast compared to others a little basic, but a reasonable trade off for the setting.
