Quirky with old world charm

Was clean and well presented.

Cons:

The floors were extremely creaky. Very loud when you walk around. Didn’t have enough equipment such as a microwave, basic cutlery or dishes etc for the price paid. In general the room was quite old. Noise from the corridor was loud.

Wonderfully charming, great service, needs some TLC
Pros:

This was a very pleasant experience. The standout was definitely the staff – they were just so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely enthusiastic about the hotel. We loved the uniqueness of the building both inside and out – so charming, lovely, and our room was tucked away at the end of the hallway, which made it nice and quiet. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the huge king-size pillows were phenomenal. There are a few areas that could benefit from some attention – our room had a cracked sink in the bathroom, cracked glass in the picture frame on the wall, and the floor is creaked very, very loudly, even just standing on one spot. Our biggest issue was that the room didn’t have a shower. There was a bath with a handheld shower attachment, and you had to sit down in the tub to use it. There was no plug for the bath, so it wasn’t even possible to bathe. Overall, charming, centrally located, clean, tons of character, which could use some TLC and updates to make it perfect.

Pros:

Long story short: The wait is long, the staff are rude, the boss is a hotheaded muppet, the food is overpriced and also undercooked.

The long list of bad reviews say it all. This place is craaaaaap
