The view
The bed moving everytime you sat on it
Beautiful sunrise from the room window.
Our room was a bit dated but some of the others were more recently renovated.
Across from the sea. Easy walk to shops and restaurants
Convenient, clean, friendly. Wonderful staff. Great food at bistro
Grest position and lovely sized room
It was freezing. Heating didn't work. had aircon on 30 & but don't think it went past about 20. Had to search for the electric blanket controls - buried under the mattress.
Another great stay at the Bay side.
Rooms were warm beds comfortable and dinner in the restaurant was great.
Our room was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. we were aware no breakfast would be provided and bought all we required from the local IGA. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good pub fare.
We specifically booked the hotel because a swimming pool was advertised. There was a pool which we used after asking staff where it was as it wasn't easy to find with no signage or written information. The pool is in need of renovation and there are no changing rooms, shower or toilet. It is outside the main hotel complex and we had to change in our room and walk in the cold both there and back. The pool building is cold. So disappointing.
Comfortable
Noise from the bar. A room at the back would be better.
Microwave in the room was great. After a hard days work I definitely enjoyed my microwave lasagna for dinner instead of dining in the restaurant.
Staff were rude, especially the bar & gaming staff. Bed was rock hard and not comfortable at all. Broken door lock in the room was very unsafe.
Good central location within walking distance of shops. Bistro food was reasonably priced and quality. Room was clean with good quality bed linen and bathroom facilities.
