Our stay served it purpose to close to grieving family.
Pros:

Location was key for attending a funeral. However, there was not any viable dining options. Apparently this hotel hosts Union Pacific railroad workers so it's not family friendly. As a female I probably wouldn't feel comfortable staying alone. Our hotel room only had the door knob lock.

Stayed here while working in Krotz Springs and will definitely stay here again
Pros:

The staff was amazing and super friendly.

Cons:

The wifi signal was super weak. Would connect and disconnect from my phone on its own.

Room was not ready. Reservations were made ahead of time. Stayed 2 nights. Towels not replaced and room was not cleaned. I travel a lot and this is the worse experience I’ve ever had.

WiFi was terrible I had to use hotspot off phone. Outdated shower hardware. Charged my card twice and put a 100$ hold on my card.

A good choice
Pros:

My wife and I were on a road trip and stopped here for the night.
First off while this is not the most impressive hotel there was plenty of well lit parking and a clean nice room waiting.
The lady on duty as we checked in, late, was a hoot! With her deep southern drawl (think CAJUN) I could barely understand her. But she was extremely helpful and friendly! Thank you.
The room was nice, well laid out and clean. Nothing exceptional but nice.
There was a nice little kitchenette in the room that looked pretty well stocked. Bring your own food and dine in.
This is mostly a Railroad hotel. Functional and somewhat utilitarian, but still a good choice.

The only drawback was that there was no breakfast served. I do like my breakfasts.

Worst stay ever
Pros:

Horrible place to stay I would leave a 0 if I could. The staff is horrible, the manager fired the few decent workers they did have to hire family that does nothing, looks like the sheets haven't been changed from prior stay, bathroom was not cleaned, there was mold on the walls, and it smelt like gas. Had to wait almost 30 minutes from someone at the desk, and there is a lot of lingering of people whom aren't staying there.
