A superb stay at one of my favourite hotels in the world
Pros:

The panoramic has an exceptional view of plaza Herrera, the Bridge of, the Bio Museo, the ships entering the canal, the old town, and modern Panama City. The staff from the GM Genesis, to the front desk, to the servers and doormen go above and beyond for you, the food is excellent, the rooms perfect with L’Occitane products, the decor of the hotel is stunning. They do a really good job.

Cons:

There were church bells ringing RIGHT OUTSIDE THE WINDOW starting at 6:30am, every day. And they would end at 10pm. Impossible to sleep well.

Also, the wifi in the room wasn't great. It didn't work in the bathroom.

Fair, but not worth the high price.
Pros:

Breakfast was good but glad we did not pre-purchase as it was cheaper than the prepay price. The staff was friendly.

Cons:

The room was really dark. After the water got hot which took about 5 minutes it was almost scalding and would not adjust even when changing the controls to cold. There is a church across the street that rings bells every 15 minutes from 6:30 AM until 10 PM. I realize that is not in the hotel’s control but warning would be fair. I was pretty sure I had reserved a room with a balcony but our room did not have one.
