Ive stayed at this hotel a handful of times. I moved 3 times . The reason I moved - air conditioning. I finally asked to Be moved into the room I normally stay in and the problem was resolved. The front desk clerks were wonderful, especially the woman that I see every time I come. She is happy to see guests . That speaks volumes. 😊
It was hot and humid. We got a big suite, but only the bedroom had an air conditioner, it was unbearable. We couldn't get our money back and had to stay in that hell for the entirety of our stay.
Old and dated. Only one AC in the bedroom. So the living area and kitchen, were very warm. The microwave did not work and the bathroom door was broken
Spacious apartment and well equipped. Furniture a bit dated, and difficult to keep the property cool - aircon in the bedroom but not the living area. Having said that it was in a great location overlooking the beach and plenty of seats outside. I’d recommend overall.
The hotel is very well maintained and clean_the buildings, the suite and the pool. The oceanfront location, private beach and views are lovely and it's an easy walk or bikeride to restaurants and a grocery store. The suite and terrace was spacious_ a full kitchen, living room and bedroom with 2 full beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only recommendations are a better fan in the living room and a black out curtain in the bedroom. We stayed a week and added on an extra night.

Reserved a one bedroom condo city view . Travel with wife and daughter. Bedroom has two queen beds very comfortable, plenty of room. air conditioner worked only in bedroom. Shower head placed way too high, water splatters out if you want to run at maximum. living room has all you need pots and pans plates and cutlery. Was provided a 5 gallon purified water jug lasted all week nice touch. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. pool is very small. parking is safe. Place is very quiet safe and clean. lots of restaurants in the area. Beach area during this time had lots of sargasso growing on the beach, plenty of beach umbrellas and beds free of charge. The only thing I did not like is the living room has no air conditioner is feels like a sauna without A/C( this is not an exaggeration), not pleasant for someone to use the sofa beds for sleeping. The sofa beds are really filthy, not pleasant to look at, they should at least steam clean them. not pleasant to sit on let alone to sleep on. Location is very convenient. If the current owners would invest in putting A/C in the living rooms and updating furniture and refrigerators this place would get at least a 4 star review. They do have a great staff

They need to add a/c units in the front rooms. Only the bedrooms have AC.
This place is my go-to for peace, nature, and the perfect study escape.

Nice quiet location only 10 minute walk to restaurants. We had a ocean front room with a balcony and it was wonderful, just a few steps to a private beach
No elevator. Air conditioning remote didnt work. Sometimes no hot water to shower. Bed sheets like sandpaper. Expensive rates.
Excellent property and location. Views and access to the private beach make this property a definately return.
We’ve stayed here several times. The location is fantastic and we love their beach area. It’s not luxury but it’s clean, safe and walkable to everything Puerto Morelos has to offer.
The inset beach area is wonderfully protected from the wind and perfect for a more quiet resting area.

Location was excellent. Staff friendly; allows you to be self-sufficient by requesting services when needed. Pool was well maintained and clean. wifi - good.
This is my fourth stay at Arrecifes. I Love everything about this place. Plan to be back again and again.
