Aspen Winds on Fall River

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Aspen Winds on Fall River condos & hotel units! The owners feel like family & the atmosphere they have created is special & beautiful. Our time there NEVER disappoints! We love the decor and the sound of the river is cathartic & restful! We’ve been coming here over 15 years! If you want to truly rest, make Aspen Winds your go to place in Estes Park, CO!! Enjoy amazing wildlife & elk in a safe and glorious environment! A genuinely peaceful & glorious time away from your busy routine!

Incredible experience! This review is long overdue, we stayed at Aspen Winds in the Fall of 2025. Our experience first started with Phil when we made reservations for our daughter and son-in-law for their honey-moon. Phil was wonderful to speak with and was so helpful. After my daughter and son-in-law's experience at Aspen Winds we knew we had to experience it for ourselves.
For our reservations we worked with both Eric and Karey and they were amazing. I had some health issues and they were so understanding! Upon arriving and checking in Karey showed us to our beautiful condo and we already knew that we were going to love Aspen Winds. Both my husband and I were amazed of the cleanliness of our condo and all of the accommodations that they provide for their guests. We met Dot, Eric and Diana the following day and we felt like they were family. When we met Phil he was wonderful to talk with also. They were all so helpful in recommending places to see. Diana was always so happy and pleasant in the mornings always asking if we needed anything and wanted to make sure we were doing fine. The sound of the river out our back door was so relaxing. Rocky Mountain National Park was right up the road from Aspen Winds. We spent a week at Aspen Winds and wouldn't change a thing!
We are already looking forward to our next adventure there at Aspen Winds. We also look forward to seeing all of them again!

Much needed post-Thanksgiving getaway up to beautiful Estes Park and we can't say enough about how awesome our most recent stay at Aspen Winds on Fall River was! We have been to Aspen Winds multiple times now over the last few years, and this visit (just like our previous visits) was outstanding in all respects. We made repeated use of the in room jacuzzi during this visit and watching the evening snow fall while we soaked away a day of hiking and elk watching around town and in Rocky Mountain National Park was definitely a memorable experience. Love this place and can't wait to get back in the Spring!

I’ve stayed all over Estes Park, this was one of my favorites. Caliber unmatched: decor, kitchen, balcony, fireplace.

Aspen Winds is our favorite place to stay when we visit Estes Park. Comfortable, clean, ideally located between town and RMNP. The owners and managers are incredibly friendly, making us feel like family - and treating us the same! We love hearing the Fall River right off the balcony. We've stayed at Aspen Winds in the Summer and Fall - just missed the leaves this past trip - but didn't deter the views and the feel of being 'in' the mountains. Best condos/cabins/rooms (we've not decided how to refer to 'our place') for the most reasonable price! This quiet, cozy place is always our 'go to' when thinking about heading to the mountains for some time away and a bit of hiking, shopping, eating, and simply enjoying life at a leisurely pace.

We loved being right on the river! Our villa was clean and comfortable, and the location was close to RMNP. Would definitely stay here again.

I can not say good enough things about Aspen Winds on Fall River.

We stayed here for my daughter's wedding and they were the best hosts to our guests. The staff was beyond compare, just amazing. They were so kind and friendly to all our guest.

We had so much fun. I can't wait to go back .The place is just perfect!

We are so glad that we found Aspen Winds online and booked our three-night stay with them. We found the price to be reasonable for the area, but we were not short on amenities. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The in-room spa jacuzzi was a treat after hiking Rocky Mountain trails all day, and the owners, who run the place as a family, were friendly and welcoming. We were appreciative of their restaurant recommendations, too, because they led us to some good places!

Came to Estes Park for a wedding. This was a perfect, charming spot to stay! Wild life visited outside our rooms from Elk to Turkeys! Great spot to head to Rocky Mountain National Park to enjoy the scenery

I really enjoyed my stay at Aspin Winds in Estes Park. The room was spacious and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. I loved having a full kitchen—it was clean, well-equipped, and made the stay feel more like home. The best part was the incredible view of the mountains and the stream right outside. It was peaceful and scenic, the perfect setting for a Colorado getaway. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Estes Park.

I don't normally write reviews but could not pass up writing about Aspen Winds. My 1st time in Colorado and this place made our trip even more special! The staff, grounds, and rooms were amazing! Spotless rooms w/ all the amenities you would need. All rooms are along the river with these great swings chairs outside. We would come back from a long day of hiking and sip wine on the swings while listening to the river. So tranquil. Short distance to the Fall River entrance of RMNP which is a much quieter and less crowded entrance. If ever in the area again will definitely stay at Aspen Winds! Thank you for a memorable experience!

The entire staff was wonderful; kind, helpful, and always asking if there was anything they could do for us. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful - my husband fished in the river right outside our door.

We stayed at various properties along Fall River Road before discovering Aspen Winds several years ago. The difference from previous stays was a family run property and the individual attention given to the decoration and furnishings in each unit. Each was much more than white walls and a motel feeling. A fireplace, a reclining chair and Smart TVs was a definite plus.

The bedding,plush towels and decorations were first class. The air fryer, coffee pot, small frig,microwave, and utensils were supplied.The owners were on site and they and their friendly staff were all available and attentive to any questions that we had. I am very pleased that I can fish for trout right out the door as Fall River was right on the property. The sound of the river lulls us to sleep and the drive to RMNP Fall River Entrance 1.5 miles away was ideal. Gas grills were provided as is a fire pit in the grilling area. About 3 short miles to downtown Estes Park.
We have stayed for several years. We feel like family and have booked ahead for next year.

Gathered with siblings and spousescvfor a celebration of my sister's 50th wedding anniversary. Had a blast. This place was perfect! The rooms were very well supplied and the customer service was off the charts. I have been traveling a lot lately in the US and it was so refreshing to have excellent customer service. Not to mention the absolute beautiful setting on the Fall River. Close to town. Staff is super responsive and I cannot recommend Aspen Winds enough. 10/10 would stay here again!

What a great experience we had at the Aspen Winds! It proved to be exactly as advertised--spotlessly clean, charming decor, a balcony overlooking the Falls River--so lovely and welcoming to come home to after a day in the park. It's on the road that leads to the park entrance one way and the town of Estes Park the other way--so convenient! We had everything we needed (except a laundry but there's a good one in town). We would definitely return to this lovely location. Thank you , thank you for all the attentions that keep Aspen Winds so comfortable including being able to stream our TV shows in the evening. And if you are looking for elk...in the fall, it's easier to see them in town in the late afternoon than it is in the park:)

Our family has been staying at Aspen Winds for many years. The reason is simple, great accommodations, location to the park and Dot, Phil and Ryan are wonderful to deal with. This is without a doubt a first class business that has a good eye for detail that makes uour stay so enjoyable. Thanks guys for another Estes Park trip!

My husband and I spent a week staying in the loft suite at Aspen Winds. My first impressions were how friendly the owners are and how well kept the buildings and grounds are. The suite was very clean, comfy, and well decorated. We were able to do our laundry right in the cabin, which is important for a month's long trip. We were able to walk across the parking lot to sit in a swing to enjoy the babbling Falls River.
This is an ideal place to stay to be able to access the National Park 3 miles to the left and the town of Estes Park to the right. We highly recommend this lodging experience.

Quiet peaceful stay right on Fall River.

What a great place to stay. Great Mountain view with a stream just outside our back door. We were greeted at check in with a smile and they continued to manage all our needs, exceeding our expectations.
This was our 4th stay and plan on coming back when in the area again.

This is the best room we have ever stayed in for an Estes Park trip. Very modern and comfortable! The grounds are very nice too, allowing you to really enjoy staying on the Fall River.
