Jock Sabie Lodge

Decent place to stay on Sabie area. Room was clean and comfortable, but a little bit "dated".

En arrivant dans ce logement nous, nous n’attendions pas un confort absolu évidemment.
Cependant, la personne qui nous a accueillis était complètement explosé par la drogue. La chambre nous paraissait correcte de prime abord. En début de soirée, le propriétaire des lieux est arrivé lui bourré.
Le lit était tellement inconfortable que nous avons pas réussi à dormir de la nuit.
Pour le petit-déjeuner, nous avions apporté notre propre nourriture. Malheureusement le local qui servait de cuisine était fermé à clé. Nous avons attendu plus d'une heure trente et personne. A 8h30, nous avons finalement pris la route sans notre nourriture et dormi dans la ville voisine la nuit suivante même si nous avions déjà payé.
C'est de loin ma pire expérience et la seule en Afrique du Sud.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff - reception, restaurant and cleaning - were superb, and the room was simple and unpretentious. We will certainly go back.

We were only here for less than 12 hours. We liked the private cabin. Water was freezing and it did not include toilet paper, shampoo or enough towels for 5 of us.

Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer (mit sechs Schlafmöglichkeiten - bei drei Gästen). Die Ausstattung war auch sehr gut und die Anlage macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Der Service war auch einwandfrei. Einzig die Zimmersauberkeit ist am europäischen Standart gemessen, nicht sonderlich hoch. Die Bäder waren ziemlich dreckig und wir haben an der Abreise einige Ameisen entdeckt (wobei die in Südafrika wirklich überall sind). Für Reisende, die keine Hygienehochburg brauchen, sondern eine nette Unterkunft mit ausreichend Platz, ist die Unterkunft zu empfehlen!

We really enjoyed our stay The peacefulness of the place Super service from everyone It was nice and central to visit all the wonderful attractions in the area and just relaxing every evening with a cold beer on the verandah after a lovely day capped it all

The staff was nice and helpful. Our apartment was large, but in need of improvements. During the night there was a lot of loud music from a nearby place.

Molto soddisfatti del soggiorno! Buona posizione per esplorare Blyde River Canyon e i paraggi, molti punti interessanti nei dintorni, cittadina carina anche per passeggiare, con diversi locali dove mangiare. Struttura ben organizzata, con camere grandi, comode e pulite. Unica pecca, la mancanza di una connessione WiFi.
