Hillthwaite is an exceptional gem in Windermere. Very high standards, welcoming, attentive & kind staff. The hotel and gardens transported you to the history of The Lakes while providing every comfort needed. The views were exquisite and the food & drinks were a delight. An amazing time for us. Excellent getaway for couples and families alike and the well thought out arrangement of the breakfast and dining rooms
Pros:

Well appointed Hotel with modern stylish interior design, beautiful location and stunning vistas, a warm and very friendly hotel. Food was delicious and with an added bonus of a pool and sauna, we loved our stay there and would thoroughly recommend it for anyone staying up in the lakes.

Cons:

To be honest we left thinking we would definitely return when coming back to the Lake District. A very lovely memorable few days spent.
