The location was excellent, and the room was tidy, making for a very satisfying stay. The hospitality was outstanding, and I would love to stay here again.
The location is excellent, and the rooftop, despite its inoperable condition, was fine too. But the view from the rooftop is worth seeing.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The location is wonderful - quiet, yet close very central.
De locatie is top! Het hotel ligt in een hele gezellige maar toch ook rustige wijk. Leuke straatjes met eettentjes. De bedden waren heerlijk. En het personeel was super vriendelijk.
De badkamer is aan renovatie toe. De doucherichel is met ductape vastgeplakt.
Boutique hotel with great rooms and balcony's. Also great location, but the staff and service were the best part of the stay. Extraordinary service.

Location and size of room is splendid
This is a beautiful hotel that exudes nostalgic grandeur with it’s sweeping marble staircase and interior detail. Set in an excellent location for meandering the old winding streets of Istanbul with its eclectic mix of shops and the easy access to the hustle and bustle of istiklal.
The location is excellent, right in a lively area with plenty of restaurants, breakfast spots, and cafés nearby. The staff was kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided each day, which was very much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room itself was spacious and well-sized, making our stay pleasant.
Photos on Google suggest that there is a terrace with tables and a view; however, in reality, there is no access to it, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the underfloor heating was set far too high. The temperature increased significantly on higher floors, and the floor was extremely hot in the entrance and bathroom, to the point of being uncomfortable. Although there was no underfloor heating in the room itself (parquet flooring), the overall temperature remained excessively high.
As a result, we had to use the air conditioning at night, despite it being only 10°C outside. The airflow was directed straight onto the beds, which was not ideal. We requested that the heating be lowered, but the adjustment had little noticeable effect - the temperature still reached at least 30°C, and even higher in the bathroom.
We would recommend that more attention be paid to temperature regulation, as it can significantly impact the comfort of the stay.

Location
Furniture is all cracked (mirror, sliding door mechanism, doors were somewhat repaired after cracking but can see stains on 'em), the toothpaste kit was not in a plastic bag i.e. you have a feeling that it has been used, the bathtub is dirty, no toilet brush (though we asked for one). There is no breakfast on the premise (though it's brought from outside) and there is no access with baby strollers (you gotta pick it up yourself up the stairs to the elevator).
