I’d like to give Tamra at the front desk a special shout-out! From the moment I walked in, her hospitality was outstanding. I had been having a very difficult day prior to check-in, but she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine kindness that immediately lifted my mood.
Tamra went above and beyond to be helpful—far more than most people I’ve encountered. Thank you again, Tamra, for making my stay truly worthwhile. Your exceptional service made all the difference!

The transport service was unavailable and that is one reason we stay there. Their breakfast option is not good. Must do a better job.

Easy to get down to plaza. Lots to do around hotel. Friendly atmosphere. Beautiful hotel. Enjoyed the restaurant with igloos.

The hotel is modern and clean, with very friendly staff. It is within walking distance of restaurants and stores. It is also walking distance to the streetcar line, which is free to use.

After a disastrous travel day, I arrived to a smiling face and kind voice. I didn’t get a chance to check in until well after midnight, and Doniella was the warm welcome I received when I arrived. Considering that I was separated from my luggage, she gave me some recommendations on getting the essentials that I need. She also informed me that when my luggage was delivered, I would be contacted and informed that my luggage was safely in my room… And she kept her promise. She also gave me a list of restaurants that I should try before I leave Kansas City.

After venturing out to my conference, I received the call from Tashae at the front desk, informing me that my bag had been delivered, and Lakota delivered it safely to my room. I am grateful for their kindness and care for me and my things. Upon my return, I had the opportunity to meet them, as well as their colleague, Brian. We had a great conversation about great places for dessert in the city as well as other local eateries for me to experience while I was visiting.

Words can’t express how grateful I am for their kindness during my stay and I look forward to coming back to Kansas City and staying at the Fontaine again.

From booking to check out - I was informed, notified, and kept in contact with all events.

This stay was a surprise for my wife and her friends - a celebration for a successful completion of Chemo. The room was decorated with thoughtful character. What an incredible room, with view and a balcony that was impressive.

Overall, this is the level service one would expect from Presidential accommodations, but from what I heard from other guests - they were also impressive with the facilities.

Interestingly, there was a tornado warning and watch - the staff communicated the emergency, guided us to the storm shelter and kept everyone safe!

Again, thank you for the wonderful stay and a special thank you to the staff Tashae Tanisha Lakota Tamara Lake! All made this special occasion memorable.

The front staff when we checked in were super helpful and kind. We ate at their restaurant and our waiter Peaches was amazing! He was efficient and hilarious and made us feel at home. One of the managers, Gawana was very kind and helped fix a small issue we had leaving us super happy and felt like they cared about our experience. Would highly recommend!

Everytime I stay here the service is second to none. This time I ordered room service, and my server Brianna was so polite, kind and very helpful. When placing my order she made it easy to talk with and convey in what I wanted and she delivered it with care. Not only the presentation of my food was flawless so was the taste. Everything was covered when it arrived. I am very pleased with the service I received all around. Thank you Brianna for your exceptional customer service.

Jace and Analiese in the cafe are the sweetest! Great personalities, very friendly and accomodating. I had the breakfast burrito and it’s was delish!

The service is great HOWEVER the accommodations are horrible. We came to KC for valentines weekend. on Thursday night our first room smelled like raw sewage and we had to ask for a room change. The 2nd night we had no hot water and was told the boiler was having issues. The 3rd night still no hot water and had to take ice cold showers. I spoke with management a d was told I would be receiving a credit which would be left at the front desk. No such envelope was left for us. I do not mind paying close to $400 per night for a clean hotel with good service but this experience was beyond ridiculous. I could have stayed at a basic chain hotel for half the price that offered hot water and did t smell like sewage. Reviews were great which is why we stayed here but it was a horrible experience

Hailey and Analiese were great in the cafe this morning! They had run out of burritos, but promised more in 20 minutes. When we came back down, they remembered our order and even went is search of more peppermint tea!
