Noise from shopping center and road
The staff are fantastic! The facility is in a convenient location if your doing the spartan race! Thee rooms are spacious and the bedding is Marriot amazing!
No microwave or heating device in the room.
I've only written one Tripadvisor review ever, and that was before Covid. After eating a cold dinner, I retrieved my long-forgotten password just to write this one. I have mostly focused on my Hilton stays over the last couple years, but started going back to Marriott properties in some places. This will not be one of those places! Had some hibachi leftovers for lunch that I planned to have for dinner. Only problem--no microwave to reheat it?! Was there a shared microwave in the lobby? Don't know, don't care--if I wanted to do that I'd book a room at a Motel 6 or a Baymont. In 11+ years of spending about 90-100 nights/year in hotels, I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've stayed in a Courtyard room that didn't have a microwave--and it will be the last! I will now check for that amenity EVERY time I consider a Courtyard location in the future. Unless I'm desperate for dinner, I have mostly avoided Courtyard Bistro's over the years because they are usually dull, dead and the food options are focused more on trendy than substance. Courtyard owners need to spend some nights in a Hilton Garden Inn and take some notes!! It REALLY says something about Courtyard's business strategy when, instead of trying to do the Bistro better, they would rather just take the shortcut of removing the microwave to force you to consider spending another $20-$40 on property for options that are mostly on par with entrees you can get on the frozen aisle of a grocery store. The other, more minor issue was the WiFi. The connection speed was among the slowest I have seen in a while, and it disconnected several times. Each time, I get disconnected from my company's VPN and have to login again. Probably 90% of the Fairfield and Hampton properties I've stayed in had better speed and more reliable connectivity than what I experienced here. All that said, I went with a 2 rating instead of a 1 because the room itself was solid and on par with most Courtyards I have visited. Bottom line: if you're ok with eating cold leftovers and don't need internet access, you'll be fine. If you have online work to do and you don't want to have to leave the property or order delivery for dinner, there are better options nearby.

I booked the wrong check in date and immediately contacted both Booking.com and Marriott. I asked both for a refund and both blamed each other responsible for refund. I never received my money back from either party.
