We had a wonderful stay. Don't be dissuaded by the name Motor Lodge it is a gorgeous facility. Quentin and Alex at the front desk are amazing and every recommendation they made was spot on and super helpful, friendly and professional. The Fleetwood restaurant on site is one of the best meals we had. We enjoyed a wonderful massage at the spa . We will definitely return and highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!
Location is great.
Staff was fantastic.
Floor in our room was wet when it rained and squeeked loudly. Walls are thin we could hear our neighbors and their dogs.
Pools were crowded at all times.
Lots of kids under 18 in the jacuzzi.
Food in the restaurant was overpriced.
Service was outstanding. Prime location a short walk from downtown. Great food and amenities, especially enjoyed the thermal hot tub. Room was nicely designed and comfy but a bit noisy next to the AC compressors.
Great location and the hotel staff were amazing! Food was great too.
Staff helped with anything we needed or found the right person to help. They all exceeded expectations.
Your staff was amazing and so accommodating. Thak you so much for a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. Everything was wonderful. Highly recommend Calistoga Motor lodge ..
I had an amazing WPO retreat at this hotel. The food was incredible and the chef even did a private pasta making class for the 20 of us and was very patient and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable.
We had an amazing retreat for 12 women led businesses. The Calistoga Motor Lodge and staff were amazing, thoughtful and accommodating. I am already thinking of other organizations that I want to tell about this best kept retreat location secret...shh.
It was a charming, well-curated property. They did a great job transforming a motel into a cute, modern version. It would be even better if the front-side rooms had pendant lighting or window shutters to add a bit more character.
The room was clean and comfortable. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the water pressure, which could be improved.
The staff was clearly committed to service excellence. We were visiting for a three-day retreat for business owners, which can be a difficult group to please. All commented on how professional and friendly every staff member was, the quality of the service and the amenities of the property, and the excellent food. Thank you!
From the staff to the rooms to the location, everything at the Calistoga Motor Lodge Inn was amazing and made the experience that much better. I cannot wait to go again in the near future!
A lovely lodge! I stayed in building six upstairs. Huge room, well-appointed. The pools are lovely. An easy walk into town.
I was here for a retreat with about 15 women and the staff was terrific and accommodating.
What a super fun, quiet, special place! I brought my friend here for her birthday and Quentin (their front desk guru) set up a birthday bottle of champagne on ice in the room while we were at our spa appointments. Our facials and soaks were incredible. Their pools are perfect. We ate dinner in their onsite restaurant and everything was delicious. Service was awesome. An incredible deal if you look at the prices of other places in Calistoga!
Part of the inn is new and updated, but part of it is essentially a run down motel. The rooms have paper-thin walls, old plumbing, and a lack of practical, necessary features (it did have a hula hoop and stuffed animal aardvark on the wall - cute, but doesn't make the room a better place to stay). the lot around the motel has a crumbling parking lot with two large storage containers, unkempt, overgrown landscaping, and an apartment building looming over it. It is really ugly and unwelcoming. all for $300 a night. I should have just left and demanded a refund.
I had previously stayed at the Calistoga MotorLodge and loved my experiences. For this trip, we reserved the Retro Classic King Studio, as we were bringing our toddler and needed the extra space. Upon arrival, the pack 'n play that was told to us would be in our room was not. When I tried to call the front desk, I realized the phone wasn't working and had to call from my cell phone. In viewing the room, we noticed the flooring was warped and coming off the floor. Additionally, there were no ice bags in the room, and water had been left in the kettle; we didn't know how long it had been sitting there. It was an incredibly disappointing experience, and I hope that MotorLodge fixes this before future guests stay in that room or part of the resort.
The Calistoga Motor Lodge's location is prime! It's walkable to town with great restaurants and shops and lose to a wonderful hiking trail across the street. The staff is always friendly and hopeful. We've been to the Motor Lodge many times and will go again.
Pet friendly
The employees at the property are all very helpful. We have now called Jessica multiple times to ask questions about the lodge. She has been very polite and helpful in answering all the questions. The stay was wonderful. We came back a second time in two months. Due to the two pools the adults pool and the kids pool areas nicely separated.
