Please be aware that the property is located in a beautiful, but remote location in the jungle.
There are no outside electricity, telephone, or internet connections. The property provides its own ecological electricity via solar panels, 24 hours a day. Telephone (charge applies) and internet (free of charge) are available via satellite connection for guests, but are subject to outside interference such as weather which may disrupt connection at times.
Tikal park entry tickets can now be bought online, prior to arrival, with a credit card. Or on the same day of arrival, before 6 pm daily, with cash only.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location could not be better - this is definitely the best way to experience Tikal, unlike those day tours from Flores. It was amazing to be surrounded by wildlife, hear the sounds of jungle and not to rush while exploring the park.
The room has everything you need including a private bathroom (which is not always a case in Guatemala), wifi worked, the staff was friendly and helpful.

La ubicación es excelente a escasos metros de la entrada del parque. La cena estuvo bien, y la habitación y el baño también.
Perfect location next to the entrance to Tikal. Nice bungalows in the middle of the jungle, certainly the ones with a porch and a hammock. You can hear the Howler Monkeys. Nice beds. Great to have electricity and therefore fans and wifi 24/7. The wifi is good. Restaurant is in a nice garden, with good food at a reasonable price. Staff is great, friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is way to slow, because there is only one employee who serves the tables and also has to make all the drinks. That doesn't work, especially since the manager who was on side at times didn't feel the urge to help the employee who worked his ass off while guests were waiting 30 minuten before their order was taken. There should be an extra person who can help when it is busy, because it is no fun rising at 7.00 to go to the park early and have to wait until 7.30 before your order is taken and until 7.50 until your breakfast arrives.
It is also a good idea to ask drivers to turn their engine off in the parking space next to the terrace, while they are waiting or to park on the huge parking side outside so the guests eating on the terrass won't have to do that in the fumes and can hear each other and the jungle.
Curtains that cover the windows would be nice. That can't be to difficult.
Where is the pool that was here 20 years ago ;-)? The Juaguar Inn is much nicer now however.
La comida es muy rica, el hotel está en la reserva por lo que está en medio de la naturaleza.
La ubicación y la habitación están bien.
El personal no es nada agradable con los clientes ni intenta mejorar tu estancia. El precio de la comida y bebida es exageradamente caro y además, no te informan de gastos extras que te incluyen (cafés fuera del desayuno, patatas, o 10% de servicio obligatorio). Si pagas con tarjeta te cobran un 10% extra, hablamos de un hotel en el 2026 en un parque natural sin cajeros, es un robo a los clientes. Estar dentro del recinto no da ninguna mejora respecto al resto de visitantes, reservamos un tour del amanecer con el hotel que incluía desayuno (que no nos dieron) y el guía llegó tarde por lo que tuvimos que estar unos 40 minutos de cola en la taquilla porque ya habían llegado los shuttles desde la ciudad. Por el precio extra que pagas por estar en el hotel no compensa.
