Grand Whiz Hotel Nusa Dua

The hotel was excellent value for money . The rooms were spacious. The breakfasts were extensive and tasty .
The staff were very friendly , and extremely helpful .
Nestled in amongst 5 star resorts it was perfect

Staff are friendly. Really cozy vibes. They have an affordable bike-rental service which you could rent a bike and cycle along Nusa Dua's coastline. A pleasant stay, would recommend

Comfortable and safe area

Everything was great! A short 5 minute walk to the beach! Shuttle to shopping mall.
Massage excellent. I had two.
Nusa Dua has a small beach town vibe. Much prefer over other busy touristy places.
I will be back!

Do not stay here. I got so sick from the mold. I was only there two nights before cancelling. Still not recovered! It’s tired. Poor condition and moldy.

First time that I traveled to this region and it was incredibly chilled and relaxing, definitely would come back in the future.

The conditioner was leaking a lot. The shower kept dripping all night I couldn’t sleep and it wouldn’t close. Window had a little opening that i could not close so we had a lizard and mosquito problem the whole night. The door was sooo hard to open every time I almost broke my hand. Literally worst place I stayed in. On the other hand the staff were really nice and helped us take care of the lizards and conditioner leaking.

It's a great safe place to stay. Could use upgrade bathroom. Our sink was clogged but it was fine after we took the drain cover off.

Only thing I like at Whitz is staff service and landscaping in common area. The rest are very disappointing via conditions of hotel lack of attention of care. Towers are dirty, smelly as well as hair shampoo/conditioner. Lighting in the room is darker than typical hotel room.

In summary: Hotel needs management attention to make hotel alive as it is very down scale and getto like

I don’t often write a bad review, however this hotel requires a lot of work on the management and communications to staff.
We had a few issues, and gave up in the end and spent most of our time outside the hotel.
Firstly upon check in I was told breakfast was till 11am, I questioned this , as key card stated 10am
However was told the hotel is full, therefore they have extended, we arrive at 10.00am ,told breakfast ends 10am. So I didn’t get any breakfast for which I paid for, we spoke to manager and was told mis communication between staff, however it is meant to be 11am, they offered us lunch or dinner or room Upgrade. We went for complementary lunch , which was a 2 course set menu with only 2 choices, however the manager advised us we could choose from menu to a value of 150,000, I selected a meal which cost 190,000, I was happy to pay the difference, 30 mins after I ordered expecting my meal to be coming , waiter advised I was not permitted to select a higher meal and pay the difference, so I said but why have you taken 30 mins to tell
Me this , we gave up and went out for dinner as it was 9.30pm.
Second issue: we in our room after breakfast and outside they are fumigating, within 10 mins our room , hall way all
Outside area is full of smoke and smell , we cannot breathe or go outside, it was truly shocking.
Third issue, no pool towels
Although staff are apologetic there needs to be much improvement, grounds and pool are lovely and our room was fine.

Great location to end my Bali travels in onsite spa treatments, great pool, lounging and free breakfast with great diverse options

The property is a little tired but the pool area was wonderful. Dining room and poolside care was average. Breakfast limited to the main dining room, whereas dinner was by the poolside. Menu was very limited.
The bathroom areas were not very well cleaned.
However, the beautiful staff were very helpful and ready to assist.

The staff at reception went out of their way
Hosekeeping staff and some hospitality staff I would rate as average.
