Basic stay
Pros:

Car park at the end of the road is good, and a short walk into the centre.

Cons:

As basic as basic comes. The shower looked like we would come out dirtier than before we got in. Looking for a cheap no frills bed for one night? Job done. Anything else, look elsewhere.

Pros:

Not alot paid for a week stay and because my partner assaulted me there I was told to leave personally it was in my name and I should of been able to stay and him kicked out

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, this guest house is very clean and tidy, nicely decorated and the complimentary chicken noodles was a lovely extra, great bathroom and overall great value and service, and I enjoyed chatting with some of the international Chinese dancers who were taking part in a dance competition at the Winter Gardens, and I wished them good luck in the finals. I would recommend the Butterfly guest house as a very nice place to stay in Blackpool.

Cons:

The only downside was the scaffolding at the front of the building as having work done which takes away from the look of the building but that's only minor and temporary, but it didn't affect my stay in any real way as its understandable to have work going on before the start of a busy summer season.

Our stay was ok apart from not being giving the hotel we paid for but all in all it was a good day/night
Pros:

I don’t kno because we was allocated the hotel next door on arrival without being notified first as a family of 6 we paid to stay here but we didn’t get the chance to so we had very upset people

Cheap and cheerful
Pros:

The property was a great location although no parking. The host was helpful and got us a new room. Not the best but for the price it’s to be expected. I’d of paid more and gone to somewhere with parking personally.

Cons:

No parking had to pay £16 in the car park, we didn’t actually stay in the butterfly hotel but next door as there was work going on, when we entered our room someone was asleep on the bed. The property had a very strange smell like damp and fuster.

hotel was dated and cold but very good value for money regardless
Pros:

very cheap price considering cost of hotels in Blackpool. Staff very friendly and nice.

Cons:

Room was absolutely freezing, could hardly sleep it was so cold. Radiators etc in room did not work. Maybe that was because i was on the top floor other rooms could be better, I dont know.
