What a property! The drive in is stunning. Amazing greeting. Easy parking within a gated area. The check-in was first class. We were given a tour of the property which is incredible. The rooms are incredible. Then we experienced a wine tasting that we won't forget. The Banfi wines are amazing. Then we experienced arguably our favourite dining experience at the Michelin Star restaurant on the property. What a property! What a team!! We are already discussing our return.

We enjoyed the stay. Everything was very nice and orderly. The restaurants are delicious. They have activities to do on the property such as a tour of the winery, a bike tour through the grounds, and truffle hunting. Montalcino is a 20 minute drive away but there are also a couple charming smaller towns closer than that.

The hotel seems like a little piece of paradise for it's beauty. I could really die happy there. Our room was perhaps larger than my house (the bathroom defitely was). Besides that, I have to congratulate the staff. What an amazing and professional people. It particularly amazed me that the girl in the reception, during our check-out, didn't even asked me my name or my room number. She just knew it. I felt really special for that. Hope to be back soon.

Castello Banfi is a lovely place to take a short retreat in beautiful and astonishingly quiet surroundings.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with luxurious linens. The pool was pleasantly warm considering relatively cool weather. The view is lovely. We enjoyed two excellent meals at the Taverna.
The staff are gracious and welcoming.

One of the most pristine and stunning properties we have stayed at. The views are unmatched. Truly the quintessential Tuscany we were looking for. The wine tour was fabulous as were the restaurants on property. AMAZING

I did not want to leave. If i could, i'd live there. What a beautiful place. You sit out at the pool and look over the valley and it doesn't even seem real. Its like a portrait and it is real! and right in front of you! The service here was amazing. The food was amazing. The amenities were amazing. I will return hands down. Purely magnificent!

Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful restaurants. What we didn't like is they allow children. The hotel property is small so they always seem to be right where you are even on the winery tour. We didn't like that every meal, even the high end restaurant included toddlers running around and babies crying.
