A shame the restaurant was not open the night we were there.

Pros:

The attention to detail at this hotel is amazing, it is beautiful and has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Cons:

I can't think of much. There is no breakfast available on site but a quick trip to the grocery store to stock our mini fridge resolved that issue.

An amazing, unique place to stay where you feel really welcome and looked after.
Pros:

We loved staying in this hotel and finding out about it's history. It is so beautifully presented and in a great location. The staff were so kind and helpful. Lots of thoughtful extras, making you feel so welcome. Our only regret was we did not have more time to spend there and didn't get to dine there. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent historical property that was restored immacutely. Great location but short service hours for staff
Pros:

Absolutely beautiful property, very well-maintained and had a great sense of history. Location was convenient and the rooms were well-appointed.

Cons:

There was no staff available after about 7pm, and the library was also closed then. We wanted to spend a night reading in the beautiful library but couldn't do that.

Well worth a stay to treat yourself to a bit of luxury at Qualicum Beach.
Pros:

Beautiful inside and out. Very clean and well appointed rooms. I enjoyed the history, shared balcony, swanky library and access to the heritage forest in the backyard. The garden was amazing.

Cons:

Generally the place was very quiet, but the mini fridge in the room was quite loud and kept us awake.

Beautiful, historic, hotel with huge rooms!
Pros:

The room was huge, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main room had a king size bed and the second room had a pull out sofa bed/love seat for a single bed - ideal for our child. The room was clean and made up each day beautifully. The staff were courteous and friendly. It's a small property so the staff knew who we were immediately and we honestly never saw any other guests but we were gone most of the day each day. There's plenty of parking and it's close to the beaches and town center. It's a beautiful property and, compared to all the motels and local hotels, this was a gem to stay at!

Cons:

It's an older property and is well maintained but it won't have all the modern amenities of a new hotel. That said, it's quaint and lovely and chic.
