Great
Pros:

Loved it here . It's not a very central location tourist wise but it was kinda fun being in the outer local spot . Was not that far to old town. Food was lovely. The staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Great really big heated indoor pool . Spa service was fantastic both times. Rooms were large and very clean, beds very comfy. All up a great stay in a lovely hotel.

Spacious room, otherwise unimpressive
Pros:

The hotel is located closer to the airport than many of the older hotels, but it's about 15-20 minutes from the Old Quarter where many of the tourist sites and restaurants are. The area near the hotel has a number of cafes and small restaurants.

We booked the 2-bedroom apartment for our family of four. The room was very spacious with two bathrooms, a living room, and a sizeable kitchen area with a full-sized fridge. Breakfast was adequate. It included an egg/omelette station and a pho station. There was more Asian than Western food.

The hotel room was clean, but certainly in need of updating. I wish the beds and furniture had been more comfortable. The pool was similar in that it served its purpose while feeling old and tired.

The last night of our stay, a bad odor (sewage smell) appeared in the main bathroom.  It was strong enough that we had to close the bathroom to keep the smell out of the bedroom, and avoided using the bathroom for several hours.

Overall, the Super Candle worked for our needs on this trip, but did not impress in any way.  We will likely not stay again.

Le petit déjeuner est complet, un large choix de salés et de sucrés. Le personnel est agréable

Cons:

La moquette partout, ça fait vieillot. La petite marche pour descendre de la baignoire n'est pas très sécurisant. La piscine n'était pas aussi belle que sur les photos, un gros manque d'entretien.

Positiv:
Das Super Candle Hotel ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von zwei bis drei Tagen in Hanoi absolut ausreichend und bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Die Lobby und der Eingangsbereich wirken hochwertig und machen zunächst einen sehr guten Eindruck. Wir hatten eine sehr große Apartment-Suite mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer, Küche, zwei Bädern und zusätzlichem Gäste-WC sowie außergewöhnlich viel Stauraum. Für ein paar Nächte fast schon überdimensioniert – eher eine Wohnung für einen längeren Aufenthalt.

Die Lage ist praktisch: Mit Grab erreicht man die Altstadt in etwa 15 Minuten, Restaurants, kleine Läden und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist auch der Service: Unser erstes Zimmer roch stark nach Rauch, uns wurde jedoch sofort und unkompliziert ein anderes, sogar noch größeres Zimmer angeboten. Das war professionell gelöst.

Verbesserungswürdig:
Das Hotel ist insgesamt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Man sieht es der Einrichtung, den Zimmern und auch dem Poolbereich an. Alles funktioniert, aber es entspricht nicht dem Standard eines westlichen Vier-Sterne-Hotels. Eine Renovierung wäre sicherlich sinnvoll.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber eher durchschnittlich. Es war grundsätzlich alles vorhanden, auch westliche Optionen, allerdings war die Qualität eher mittelmäßig. Säfte überzeugten nicht, und manches wurde erst auf Nachfrage nachgefüllt.

Fazit:
Für zwei bis drei Nächte in Hanoi eine solide und preislich attraktive Wahl. Für einen längeren Urlaub oder höhere Komfortansprüche würde ich eher eine modernere Alternative wählen.

In vielen Bereichen sieht man einen klaren Renovierungs- und Reparaturstau – Möbel, Badezimmer und Poolbereich wirken abgenutzt und teilweise etwas abgewohnt. Technisch funktioniert zwar alles, optisch entspricht es jedoch nicht einem modernen Standard.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach gehalten. Die Auswahl war zwar vorhanden, die Qualität jedoch eher durchschnittlich, Säfte wirkten künstlich und Nachfüllungen erfolgten teilweise erst auf Nachfrage.

Pros:

Les chambres sont superbes ! Suite à mon appartement et il y avait vraiment de l’espace et le mobilier récent avec la prime des toilettes japonaises.
Le petit déjeuner était bien achalandé, copieux avec tous les styles à disposition que ce soit asiatique comme continental .
Le staff était adorable.

Cons:

Je pense que il faut revoir absolument l’état de la piscine ainsi que du spa qui sont et je pèse mes mots «  dégoûtants »
Les vitres du spa sont pleines de calcaire et le carreaux de Carrelage sont blanchis par la saleté et le calcaire.
Nous n’avons pas mis les pieds dans la piscine à cause de cela et encore moins dans le spa.
Cela mérite vraiment un gros gros coup de nettoyage, et après je pense que ceci pourrait être du niveau de un hôtel de standard.( 10L vinaigre blanc devrait faire l’affaire.)
C’est pour cela que ça a gâché notre séjour car nous n’avions pris aussi pour pouvoir profiter des installations et vu le prix ce n’est pas normal.

Pros:

日本語が話せるスタッフの方をはじめ、他のスタッフ方の対応もとても丁寧で感じよかったので、安心して滞在できた。
朝食は、少しずつ毎日メニューが変わるので飽きずに楽しめた。
枕も選ぶことができた。

Cons:

少し仕事で使いたかったが、Wi-Fiのセキュリテーに不安を感じたのが残念（パスワードも不要だったし）
