Good location. Sorround by green and only green
Pros:

Short and sweet stay in budget price. Nice location. Not too far away from the town, shopping area.

Not suitable for family with kids.
Pros:

The Hotel has very less amenities. it is almost like a apartments converted into a resort. The food served are only North Indian. The staff speak only Hindi.
there is absolutely no possibility of a mobile network in that location.
Further the directions leading to the resort was hardly visible. The confusion started with the terminology of it being a resort. It is not a Resort standard, but similar to boarding / lodging location.
Your room service, while decent, was meaning to shout from your room to the gentleman on the other side.
Though booked for 2 nights, shifted from the location within a span of 7 hours.
Food could have been cooked better.

Old property in the middle of nowhere, average
Pros:

We searched for a hotel at Madikeri and this hotel showed up on the search. By the time I realised that this was about 40 km from Madikeri, the booking was already been done, and we were travelling. Then when we got to the hotel, we realised that it was in a scenic location, but in the middle of nowhere. Then the room was very ordinary for the price, the linen and towels were not very clean. We asked for milk without sugar, but it ended up with sugar with an insistence that there was no sugar in it. Overall it was not a very good experience, but as we needed only an overnight stay while on way onwards, we managed.
