A family city break to Rome. We stayed in a triple room on the 6th floor of the main hotel building. Hotel is well situated for lots of great restaurants, bus stops and all the major attractions. We enjoyed our stay which was for three nights with breakfast. The building work was a little inconvenient and we waited a whole afternoon when we ran out of toilet roll!!! Overall a great stay and we loved the terrace to sit out on.
Very nice hotel and location cannot be beaten, within walking distance to every major attraction.
We stayed in the annex which us only a few short steps away from the main building. The receptionist walked us to the building and showed us how to enter using our key card, very secure and was happy to see that anybody from the street could not go in.
Staff in general were very pleasant and really helpful. We didnt eat here but did have a few drinks at the bar one evening, very child friendly as the bar staff brought over a coloring pad and pencils to our son which we thought was a very thoughtful touch.
We had a triple room and it was perfectly fine for what we needed, nice and spacious with lovely high ceilings. It was also spotlessly clean and cleaning staff were in everyday. The only element of the room that was disappointing was the shower....Because it leaked onto the floor into the room. Very shallow shower tray and the seal between the door did not close properly so we had to use all of our towels every day to prevent water spreading into the room. We didnt feel the need to report this because we were only there for 3 nights, didnt want to make a fuss but we did have to keep showers to very fast ones and try to direct water away from the door. We really did have a great stay though and would definitely returning.
Loved the location.
The staff were very attentive.
Breakfast was lovely.
Room was perfect
There were quite heavy construction works renovating the hotel for the duration of my stay which I was not warned about.
Upon check-in I was having a sleep on my bed when a construction worker let himself into my room and quickly exited.
Construction work started at 0730 with loud bangs and chasing of walls which woke me up.
On my final morning prior to check out I went for a walk. When I returned there was a construction worker working in my room sanding the door. He moved out of the way but continued to work as I finished packing and collected my belongings. I had left all my possessions on the bed during my walk.
I informed the reception and was told he understood but that was it.
I liked the location
The bathroom smelled like sewage. The staff were aware of the issues and told us they’d disinfect the pipes and have someone look at it. The problem was never resolved and we had two separate rooms that smelled like rotten eggs. The staff was later dismissive and told us the weather in Rome makes the rooms smell. I have stayed around Rome and other parts of Italy, the hotels do not smell. There were also tiny bugs on the sheets and a large spider in the bathroom.
Edoardo B at the reception was really kind and helped us have the best experience!!!
Having stayed here many many times before and recommending this hotel to so many people we always stay at the Rome Times . Location is perfect. With easy walking distance to the sites and restaurants and also being very close to the Metro station. The rooms are always spotless and the beds very clean and comfortable. Some rooms can be quite small. Sadly on our first day the shower was broken, but was fixed when we arrived back at the hotel , the shower cubicle was also very small. My wife is 5 foot three and a size 8 and even she struggled in the shower. We were told it is a standard size shower cubicle!!!!
This was a trip for my wife’s birthday and unknown to us our children had contacted the hotel to explain that this was our eighth visit to the hotel and also it was my wife’s birthday. Sadly this was unrecognised which was very disappointing. Little touches mean a lot and don’t cost much.
Sadly, we will look at other hotels in the future. We cannot really rate the staff as if you stay in the annex next to the hotel you only see them on arrival and departure.
Bra läge! Bodde i ett nyrenoverat annex som var jättefint!
great location, room was very spacious and breakfast was great!
There was some construction going on- but besides that nothing
