Its ok
excellent location, just next to Mutiara Damansara station, making access very convenient. There is also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping and dining options are plentiful. The breakfast was good, and the room itself had a high ceiling and gave a rather elegant and luxurious impression.
I booked a Club room, and the lounge was closed during my stay. Apart from having afternoon tea delivered to my room once, there were virtually no benefits associated with the Club room. Paying nearly 300 MYR extra per night for this was extremely disappointing. I also believe it is not appropriate that the hotel did not clearly state that the lounge was unavailable. I personally do not drink alcohol, but if you do, you would probably feel that this is almost like a scam.
Additionally, on the day of check-in I arrived at KL Airport before 7 a.m. after a long international flight. Since I expected to be quite tired, I had sent a message through Booking.com in advance requesting the possibility of early check-in. Unfortunately, I never received a reply. When I arrived at the hotel around 1 p.m., I was simply told that check-in was at 3 p.m.. Of course, I understand that early check-in depends on availability and is at the hotel's discretion, but not receiving any response at all was very disappointing.
I have stayed in Club rooms many times at hotels such as Le Méridien KL Sentral and ParkRoyal Bukit Bintang, and I have to say that the difference in service is quite significant.
I had previously stayed several times at Royal Chulan Kuala Lumpur in Bukit Bintang (not in a Club room) and had a very positive impression of the brand. Unfortunately, this stay completely changed that impression.
room very big and clean
Location
Requested single big bed but gave 2 single bed park together.
Cleanliness of the toilet
Smell of the room
Air conditioner not function well
Breakfast was nice. We booked a family room w 3 beds and were pleasantly surprised that we were given 2 adjoining rooms! Love that!
Location is convenient considering that it is joining to a MRT station.
No indoor slippers were provided till we requested. Could have been placed in rooms.
The valet parking facility is great. Especially for senior citizens. Check-in and check-out are fast. Very pleasant staff. Peaceful environment.
Your hotel should change to Smart TV's with Android/Google TV. So, we can enjoy Netflix other than just HBO 😀
Ok
Ok
very good
nothing
Generally, every things is still well intact although it is a old hotel
I observed that somehow the operator is rather insensitive, untruthful and disrespectful attitude towards guests. I was satisfied with most of the facilities provided. however, I would like demand an explanation that how could a 5 stars hotel provide a damn dirty and generally torn towels. It is just like foot rug. After a complaint, the house keeper changed a newer towels. This is not only I encountered in Royale Chulan Damansara, but the same I experienced in Royale Chulan Seremban on 5th Feb 2026
Amazing hospitality shown by the hotel staff.
The location is convenient because it is close to many restaurants
The musty smell of the carpet on the hallway of the 10th floor.
