Zanzibar is definitely worth visiting! so much history, culture and fun!
Pros:

The only good thing about this hotel is its location in the centre of Stone Town and the comfort in its rooms. My room was quite big, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Tea, coffee and water were replenished every single day and my bed was meticulously made on a daily basis with a different 'work-of-art' made out of a bath towel. Breakfast was very good and definitely fresh from the kitchen...it's not a buffet but you get what you order freshly cooked!

Cons:

However the hotel is in a road where not even our transport from the airport could go in and download bags - the road is very narrow indeed! Facing the hotel is a dilapated building and once it's dark there's very little light all around. To top it all, wifi was non-existent on our arrival due to some malfunction (we were told at reception!) and remained very poor (non-existent in my room!) throughout our stay.

Pros:

GREAT location, everything was walking distance and we felt very safe the whole time, walking at night and also by ourselves. Very yummy breakfast, especially the crepes.

Cons:

The bathroom curtains we're not that long so it created a mess every time we showered. Our room was a bit tiny because we had 3 suitcases but nothing too bad.

Pros:

The breakfast was good, lots of choices for non-vegetarian but was very limited for my colleagues, she is vegetarian. Rooms was clean, with very good water pressure and hot water is available all day.
