Great Views, Disappointing Condition & Staff
Pros:

We stayed at Club Patara Villas, AKA Club Patara Apartments AKA, Prince Patara Resort
As we understand it the Hotel manages a number of villas as well as the Hotel itself, this review in no way reflects Private Owners Villas that are rented out independently..................
On arrival we booked in and were shown immediately to our villa - No welcome pack, no induction etc - it was 10:30 pm so we gave the lad at Reception the benefit of the doubt and decided to just get an early night and go back in the morning in order to get our bearings.
The villa itself was extremely tired and quite grubby, the kitchen and bathroom in particular are in need of replacement as was the sofa - sank into it, down to the frame and the double bed was also rock hard with sheets/covers that were not fit for size of bed. Windows and doors do not lock that well as bolts have slipped and some electric sockets were quite loose - we were unable to use them as they set the tv flickering! We were unable to use the Safe as it had been broken and it took staff 7 days to find a replacement, we were not offered the use of a safe facility at the Hotel in the meantime - The kitchen is under equipped if you want to seriously self cater. Having said that it does include a dish washer (never used it) and a washing machine - God send!!
