Hôtel Nendaz 4 Vallées & Spa

This year felt like they've finally got it all together. We had no issues and reception was smooth despite at least half the staff being the same as last year. The dining hall manager is very chatty.

The rooms are very warm, as is of course the fabulous pool.

The mayan room suits us with young children - the main room has a big and comfortable super double bed, and the kid's 'bedroom' is a mezzanine with no wall partition, hanging over with 2 singles (pushed together) for a 'sleepover'. I'm not sure it would suit older teenage kids, and possibly neither would the bathroom which is broadly visible from the bed.

We spent the Christmas holidays at this hotel with our kids and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for skiing, which made everything very convenient. The hotel itself is very charming and welcoming.
The staff is professional and attentive, with a special mention to the bartenders who were very caring and friendly ( Gabriel and Frank) . Reception was fast and efficient, which we really appreciated, especially during the busy holiday period.
The spa is amazing, offering a great range of saunas and baths — a perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Breakfast was correct and met our expectations.
Overall, it’s a great place to spend time with kids or as a couple. We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing ski holiday.

Beautiful Mountain View’s from a spacious balcony, lovely room with large soaking tub and shower, and lovely common ares. The spa was fantastic.

Séjour exceptionnel aux 4 Vallées

Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable à l’Hôtel 4 Vallées à Nendaz. L’accueil était chaleureux, la chambre spacieuse et confortable avec une vue magnifique sur les Alpes. Le spa est un véritable havre de paix, et la gastronomie locale est délicieuse. Le personnel est attentif et professionnel, rendant notre séjour parfait. Une adresse incontournable pour profiter des montagnes suisses en tout confort.

Stayed one night visiting friends locally, good safe parking, decent sized room and everything fresh, soa liveky and outside pool in the sunshine delicious. We didn't book a room with a view as a short stay and we didn't have breakfast as there are several cafes in the village and we like that vibe. We'd go back again, good value for money

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel ok. Für uns stimmt einfach hier das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht und entspricht nicht 4 Sternen.

1. Zimmer sind schön und sauber, aber in der Nacht war es im Februar sicherlich 24/25 Grad und wir konnten die Temperatur nicht regulieren. Wir sind immer wieder erwacht, weil wir so heiss hatten. Hatten ein Zimmer auf der Rückseite und der Balkon war gegen die Stützmauer, also quadi kein Tageslicht und keine Aussicht. Fand ich nicht sehr schlimm, aber halt bei einem stolzen Übernachtungspreis von 300.— nicht gerade der Hit. Könnte man davon absehen, wenn alles andere toll gewesen wäre.

2. Frühstück war lecker, aber auch hier hätte ich erwartet, dass Heissgetränke serviert werden. Kenne ich nur so von Hotels. War alles Selbstbedienung. Auswahl eher bescheiden. Rührei sah aus wie eine Pampe, habe ich nicht versucht. Wasser mit Kohlensäure stand nur eine Kleine Valser Flasche da, wurde auch nicht „aufgefüllt“

3. empfang: war nett, aber mehr auch nicht. Koffer wurden nicht aufs Zimmer gebracht keine grossen Infos zur Region. Gesprochen wird Französisch und teilweise Englisch.

4. SPA: eigentlich wäre der SPA Bereich toll ausgerüstet, aber es stinkt so abartig mit dieser dauerfeuchten Holztreppe, und auch sonst eher schmuddelig. Im Innenbereich vom
Grossen Pool zwischen den Gitterstäben am Boden alles voller Dreck und verlorenen Gegenständen von anderen Besuchern. Zudem liegt einfach ein abgerissenes Stromkabel von einer Lampe am Boden.

The hotel location was convenient to the ski lifts and walking the town. The spa was amazing!

Le chauffe porte-serviette était hors service; dans la chambre, il n'y a pas de port USB, c'est dommage dans un hôtel de ce niveau. La qualité du petit déjeuner et du service du petit déjeuner n'est pas au niveau: les oeufs brouillés baignaient dans l'eau, la charcuterie et le saumon fumé était tout transpirant, le personnel service n'était pas du tout aimable. Avant de prendre la route, mon fils a voulu acheter 3 bouteilles de coca au bar pour la route, on lui a dit qu'il devait aller à la Coop.

The positives are all still there.
Great rooms, great breakfast, close to the ski lift, amazing spa (outside pool is a couple of degrees less warm but understandable given electricity costs). It is really comfortable and easy.

It does however seem to be declining. Are they under new management?

When i rang, i asked whether there was any availability for some dates and was told no, and goodbye, rather than trying to find alternatives. I looked elsewhere and my partner entered 1 day earlier on their website for the dates and there was a room available. I found this odd

They then wouldn't let us hold the room for 12-24 hours to check flights and other details etc. In previous years this has never been a problem

A couple of items were broken in the room (drier and light). The drier was reported but not replaced.

Staff refused to give us the code to the car park (in order to get to the ski room via indoor route with children) despite this never having been a problem in previous years.

We asked whether there was a menu for Christmas day and were told it was a chef's suprise. They weren't able to tell us anything on the menu or whether there'd be a choice. We asked whether there would be something for fussy children and between the 3 staff they didn't know anything about it...so we went to have a fondue elsewhere.

Overall we'll probably be back with lower expectations, but given the cost, there's a good chance we only go every 2nd year and instead opt for a much cheaper appartment locally (1/3 price)

Super schön und freundlich

Magnifique hôtel de style chalet situé au centre de Haute-Nendaz. Parking payant sur place. En été le parking à proximité est gratuit. Personnel chaleureux et souriant. L’hôtel est parfaitement adapté aux enfants avec une grande salle de jeux et une pataugeoire. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et bien isolée. Room service rapide et délicieux. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et varié mais malheureusement certains produits au buffet (lait de vache, fromage, miel…) n’étaient pas réapprovisionnés.
L’espace spa est incroyable et bien équipé: piscine extérieure chauffée, piscine couverte, bain à remous, hammam, sauna et salle de détente.
À l’occasion de notre anniversaire de mariage j’avais demandé à l’hôtel une petite attention. La surprise était super jolie mais nous a été facturée 40.- lors du check out, et ce sans même nous avoir demandé notre accord !
Malgré cet incident, l’expérience était vraiment relaxante et je recommande cet hôtel.

전체적으로 아주 만족스러운 숙박이었습니다. 직원분들도 모두 친절했어요. 스파 시설도 아주 좋았습니다. 하지만 따뜻한 탕이 하나 정도는 있어도 좋을 것 같았어요.

A very pleasant stay. Group of families.

Perfect for skiing. / Very close to main lift.
Great breakfast buffet.

Room very clean / great linen / comfortable / quiet etc.

Pleasant bar staff. And excellent pool / spa facilities.

Standort gleich neben Bergbahn (mit Lift gehts hoch).
Spa: Offen von 10-20.00 Uhr. Schön gemacht. Gute Auswahl an Saunen / Dampfbäder. Pool eher kühl. Nur Wasser, keine Teestation (haben ansonsten viele Hotels).
Service: Franz oder/und Englisch. Habe nach Kaffeekapseln an der Rezeption gefragt, hatten keine und konnten mir nicht weiterhelfen. Danach 2x Zimmerservice angerufen und nochmals Rezeption, niemand abgenommen.
Ausstatung Zimmer: Super, vor allem da ich eine Dusche und Badewanne hatte. Bademantel, Badeschuhe, Shampoo, Haircondidior, Wattenstäbchem, Shaving, Duschmittel und Föhn vorhanden. Kaffeemaschine mit 2 Sorten Tee. 1x Stilles Wasser.
Frühstück: Nicht dem Standart entsprechend. Nichts angeschrieben. Keine Glutenfreie Cracker oder Ähnliches. Gewisse Eierspeisen müssen bezahlt werden. Habe mich auf Pancake gefreut wie auf den Bilder, wurde leider enttäuscht da nicht vorhanden. Dafür Quichelorain, Lachs, Trutenbrust, Rohschinken, Würstchen, Rührei, Tirolercake, Croissant, Roggenbrot, Cornflacks, Soja- und Mandelmilch…

The hotel appears to be on a savings spree, with little attention paid to maintaining a guest experience worthy of a 4*S venue.
The proportion of staff with little to no experience has increased to levels where a 3* hotel experience is barely justifiable. Staff with experience are so few and far between that they are stressed and unable to offer their attention to all the visitors. Simple things suddenly feel stressful, like preparing a cappuccino (hint: if it doesn't fit in the cup the way the coffee machine makes it, take a larger cup?) or a Spritz (it's not a recipe that requires two barmen...)
In terms of room upkeep, daily calls were required post-room-cleaning to have the basic amenities replenished (empty shower gel bottle not replaced, empty toilet paper roll didn't trigger toilet paper to be replenished, ...)
And when the hotel wrote Breakfast Included they didn't really mean it, at least not in a 4*S hotel sense. The breakfast buffet includes still a standard selection of ex-bottle juices, yoghurts, ham/cheese/salami/smoked salmon selection, sausages, baked beans, cold boiled eggs, etc. But when it comes to requests for hot options, a (over)fried egg served with... nothing, now costs CHF 3 extra. Two omelets with ham and cheese for children during breakfast cost CHF 18 extra.
In summary, for service levels today, level of a 3 star hotel at best. Price-wise, no longer justifiable.
