Nice and calm stopover to visit Bologna
Pros:

Staff welcoming, the room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was freshly made and the big private. The concept of the hotel is that you're shari g the building with students. Distance to Bologna center is 15min by bus abd 15 min walk from the hotel to the bus stop. There's a train station that provides a direct way to the center and is closer than the bus stop from the hotel.

Cons:

The bathroom was small and the shower needed a good refresh, had asked for large bed but got a twin bed, it was a bit late when we got our bedroom and we were tired so didn't request a change. The breakfast room is a real school cantine and missing a bit of cozynes.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE! Severe bedbug infestation, ruined vacation, and medical emergency!

Zdecydowanie OSTRZEGAM każdego przed pobytem w tym hotelu! Ten obiekt to tykająca bomba sanitarna. Podczas pobytu zostałam potwornie pogryziona przez pluskwy – mam na całym ciele prawie 120 bolesnych, zaognionych ugryzień. Mój organizm wszedł w silny stan zapalny, ucierpiało moje zdrowie fizyczne i psychiczne, a sprawa skończyła się pilną interwencją lekarską i silnymi lekami. Z powodu rozległości obrażeń mam bezwzględny medyczny zakaz przebywania na słońcu, co całkowicie zniszczyło moje dwutygodniowe wakacje we Włoszech.
Co najgorsze, hotel doskonale wiedział o problemie. Na pościeli znajdowały się stare i świeże ślady odchodów pluskiew. Gdy we wtorek rano znalazłam w łóżku wielką pluskwę pełną krwi, natychmiast zaniosłam ją do recepcji. Pracownica recepcji WPROST PRZYZNAŁA, że hotel wie o problemie z pluskwami na tym piętrze (6. piętro)!
Pomimo tego, że świadomie wynajęli nam zanieczyszczony pokój i narazili moje zdrowie, dyrekcja wykazała się absolutnym brakiem empatii i profesjonalizmu. Odmówili wypłaty odszkodowania za zniszczony urlop, a po oddaniu kosztów pokoju zaczęli ignorować wiadomości. Portal Booking.com również nie pomógł w wyegzekwowaniu sprawiedliwości.
Nie ryzykujcie zdrowia swojego i swoich bliskich. Ten hotel to koszmar. Sprawę oficjalnie zgłaszam do włoskiego sanepidu (ASL) w Bolonii.

Cons:

I strongly WARN everyone against staying at this hotel! This place is a serious sanitary hazard. During our stay, I was brutally attacked by bedbugs. I ended up with nearly 120 extremely painful and itchy bites all over my body. My body went into a severe state of inflammation, and I had to seek emergency medical treatment. Due to the severity of the reaction and the risk of permanent scarring, I am medically banned from going out into the sun, which completely ruined my 2-week vacation in Italy.
To make matters worse, the infestation in Room 604 on the 6th floor was long-standing—there were both fresh and old black fecal stains on the sheets. When I discovered the insects on Tuesday morning, I immediately brought a bedbug filled with blood to the reception. The receptionist explicitly ADMITTED that the hotel was well aware of the bedbug problem on that specific floor but they thought that they manage it. Unfortunately not.
Despite knowingly assigning us a contaminated room and endangering my health, the management has shown absolute zero empathy. They refused to pay any compensation for my ruined health and zapped vacation, and ignored further communication. Booking.com support failed to resolve the issue properly as well.
Do not risk your health, your family's safety, and your money. Avoid this place at all costs! I am officially escalating this matter to the local Italian health authorities (ASL) in Bologna.
