Easy access to jonker street

The location was great. Parking was very limited, luckily we got a parking spot right behind the hotel, and its free! Room is good and clean. Bathroom is clean too, and updated. Shampoo, shower gel, soap, shower cap...etc are provided. But they need to provide newer towels because they are all yellowish/grayish.

My room is 201 and facing the road where motorcycles vroom pass until 4am on a Sat night
There is no toothbrush/toothpaste and comb. Shampoo and bath gel only 1 tube each that is barely enough for 1 person, although we can ask for more at reception.

I’d suggest don’t give the balcony room at the back to families, the doors are shutters really so it was really noisy from the street below so we switched rooms to one down the corridor.
Locatie is top!
Er was een hard zoemend/piepend geluid in de kamer dat de hele nacht aanhield. Dat was erg storend en maakte het lastig om in slaap te vallen.
Verder was de accommodatie helaas niet erg flexibel met de data. Wij kwamen een dag eerder aan en wilden ook een dag eerder vertrekken. Ondanks dat moesten we de laatste dag toch volledig betalen.
The room was clean and the staff were friendly. We got ourself a parking as per the booking. Very close to Jonker Walk and has a very good ambience.
The property collected deposit much earlier before we arrived. I believe this was not the appropriate way but the deposit already deducted from our card without any notification. I only got to know when I want to check-in. And be prepared to pay more than what was shown on Booking.com, whereby this was only told at the counter during check-in. This is the kind of surprises that will kill the holiday mood.
This is an exceptional boutique hotel. I expected something much less, but I got what I told friends a 5-star treatment. I recommend this place highly.
For the money I paid, I got more than I should.
THe hotel location was excellent. It is within walking distance to all the places that we wanted to explore - be it for the meals (cafes, restuarants) and cultural places like museums. Jonker street is just less than a 5min stroll/walk away. The room is clean and big enough, comfortable to stay - we did not stay in the room but just for resting at the end of the day or to unload our tibits, goodies shopping bags and to stay away from the heat (room air conditioner is strong). Didn't take the hotel breakfast too since there are so many nice cafes along the street. Parking is easy and free too at the back of the hotel but is limited so may be problematic if is during peak period. Room wifi is working well too. Friendly staff and easy to communicate in english.
The water pressure from the rain shower head iwould be better if is stronger. The drinking water bottles are not replenished daily. It is limited to 2 bottles per stay regardless of no of night stays. Pilows in my own standard are too low and soft but they provided 4 pillows and 2 cushions to make up for it. Overall I would still say the stay is a commfortable one.

The Piilows , quilt and towels are very old and should be replaced with new ones. Look like not clean. The door locks are somewhat broken and there is no sense of security.
