Wonderful experience, from the moment we checked in. Carmen was so friendly and helpful and greeted us with complimentary cava on arrival.

The superior room was incredible, so many superb touches. Turn down in the evening with quality chocolates left on the pillows.

Breakfast was so tasty and varied and Nelson looked after us with such good humour and friendliness.

The pool was heated and very relaxing set in stunning grounds and the jacuzzi was brilliant.

Would definitely return here. One of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in.

This is a fantastic Hacienda. Beautiful rooms, gardens and pool. Lovely complementary spa. There aren't many rooms so it's peaceful at all times.
Exceptional breakfast choice. The restaurant food and service for dinner is faultless. Absolutely everyone on the staff, regardless of their role, was welcoming, friendly and helpful. This was a special holiday for us, and more than lived up to our hopes and expectations. I rarely write reviews, as we all like different things and experiences, but it's hard to see how anyone could fail to enjoy a stay here.

Having this Amazing Hotel in “La Isla Bonita” of the Canaries is a combination that its just perfect!
It has the luxery of any of the best resorts you can find in the islands, but without the crowds of people, and with a way better personal service. And is a gift to La Palma because this island is like no other. It’s the greenest, most natural and protected of the seven, almost untouched. So now you can enjoy both a luxury stay enjoying an island like no other.

Just home from a lovely week spent at the Hotel Hacienda in Tazarcorte in La Palma.
What to say about the hotel?
Well its a beautiful little place full of history, quirkinesss, and ever friendly and helpful staff. From the reception team to the brekfast crew theres always plenty of smiles and a willingness to ensure your experience of La Palma as a whole is excellent.
If you ned anything just ask.
Try the restaurant early in your stay. It is a little pricey but the ambience is top notch and the food aint bad either. We only ate there once at the end of our stay and I recommend you to do it early so you can establish if you want to go more. Its a bit fancy and this not to everyones liking so go early and you decide. I can say we thoroughly enjoyed what we ate and the service was wonderful.
The pool area is fab and you can use from 8 - 8.
And about Tazarcorte, the surronding areas and La Palma as a whole?
Well it is a quiet little green island. Its not a bar packed nightlive destination. Its evening dinners, relaxed beaches and time spent by the pool. And for the more adventerous loads of hiking and viewing the amazing landscape. Try the 4x4 tour, go see the whales, spot some stars and enjoy the sunsets, and chuck in a hike or two. Busses are easy to catch around the island to explore towns, comfy and cheap, and the hotel will print you timetables and explain.
To sum up. If you want hustle and bustle go to Tenerife etc, but if nature and relaxation are your thing La Palma is a gem.

Wow… this hotel is absolutely amazing. So quirky, unusual, and unlike anywhere we’ve ever stayed before. It truly is a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of the banana plantations of La Palma. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew it was somewhere special.

The staff could not do enough to make our stay perfect. A huge thank you to Sarah, Carmen, Jose, Virginia, the lovely man at breakfast, and all of the restaurant staff and waiters. Every single one of them was warm, welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay wonderful. Honestly, we couldn’t fault any of them.

The hotel itself is peaceful, tranquil, and one of the most calming places I’ve ever stayed. The grounds are stunning, filled with beautiful flowers, trees, and wildlife. Waking up each morning to the sound of birds chirping was just magical.

The breakfast each morning was also fantastic, with plenty of choice and everything beautifully presented. We especially loved sitting outside in the peaceful surroundings while enjoying our coffee and breakfast in the sunshine — it was the perfect start to each day.

Our room was beautiful, with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area, a huge incredibly comfortable bed, fresh bedding, a minibar, and gorgeous furniture and décor. Every corner of the hotel was filled with beautiful old furniture, artwork, pottery, and character. It felt so unique and full of charm.

The pool area was absolutely stunning, hidden amongst the flowers and greenery, and the spa was such a lovely bonus. The hot tub was honestly the warmest and nicest I’ve ever experienced, and the sauna was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day.

The location was perfect too — around a 15-minute walk to the harbour and only a short stroll into town where there are plenty of lovely restaurants and places to eat.

This hotel deserves every one of its five stars. The incredible staff made it even more special, and we will definitely return. Next time we would love to experience the stargazing too, which sadly we didn’t get chance to do this visit.
