The location is amazing close to restaurants,bars,shops, gas stations and the river
Everything was great
Breakfast was continental style but fresh and lots of choices for quick on the go in morning.
Staff i encountered during my stay were friendly and helpful. Treated me as a guest and not a number.
The recent ownership change taking it serious with nice updating in rooms within travelers budget while keeping the small town historic feeling
Bonus plenty of walkable restaurants and shopping nearby even though not main downtown area(downtown area not even 5min by car with more to explore)
Welp...happy the inside of RWI was fresh and clean but travelers used the main door entrance area to smoke instead of the shelter out back set up for it...little rough on non smokers walking thru... and parking filled up fast (guessing popularity of RWI)... i understand the balance of parking lot lights to nature at night but maybe redirect some towards back of lot for better safety...overall still no deal breakers for this affordable comfy hotel even with what i think could improve on.
Loved the location close to town ,of corse everything is it's small town but staff was very nice and helpfull

This was an unexpected booking as the hotel I had originally booked was found to be so lacking that I did not feel safe staying there. I drove around town and found the RiverWalk. I looked it up and booked it and was pleased with me choice.
What a wonderful little hotel. Beautifully updated in it's simplicity. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Just the way I like it. The staff is friendly and on top of things. Our sink was draining slow and it was fixed in less than an hour. When I asked for a change of towels halfway through our stay, it was no problem, the maid even took out the trash. There is an outdoor space that's a great place to relax after a long day or an early dinner. There is also plenty of free parking. We stayed during the county fair and it was the perfect location. Less than a 5 minute drive from the fair grounds and walking distance to restaurants, clubs, and shops. The downtown area is also walking distance if you don't mind a little stretch of the legs (about 20 minutes). The breakfast is simple with muffins, bagels, fruit, and waffles. If you want more than that you'll need to go into town. All in all, a great place to stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Last minute booking for family road trip. Room with 2 beds and sofa bed had plenty of space for family of 5. Hotel is very clean and breakfast was great!

We liked having the ability to walk along the river and access restaurants. We also liked that it was quiet and clean with friendly staff!
We would have liked having a comfortable chair in the room to relax in.
Camilla was the morning receptionist was friendly and answered questions efficiently.
Rooms were clean and very quiet and price was affordable.
